Colouring tutorial ➯ go back ?

Before we start , credits are mandatory so please credit me if you use this tutorial .

• Hii i usually gatekeep my colourings but people were using my colouring to impersonate or try and trigger me so i decided if my colouring is public knowledge then they can't do that anymore .. so enjoy !! (ㅎᴗㅎ )

Now , there are two possible outcomes you can A. Colour it but keep og colours or B. Recolour it completely . On this I'll be doing option A , if you wish to recolour it completely please see ➯ here

Okay so get the image you wish to colour and upload it to ibispaintx for the tutorial ill use this

The first overlay we are going to add is this:

Now DONT FIT IT TO CANVAS !! I REPEAT DON'T FIT IT TO CANVAS !!

Instead enable repeat like so:

Now we set this to ' overlay '

Dont worry about adjusting opacity yet we'll do that later , for now lets add our 2nd overlay here:

Make sure you do ' repeat ' again !! And set it to ' overlay ' like so:

Now lets adjust opacities until we're happy !! :D ( i never do odd numbers okay ? )

I wouldn't recommend copying these opacities , match the opacities to the images you're working with . Now , lets copy the og image and put it to the top

Now add ' guasian blur ' to the image we just moved to the top and then change it to ' add '

Now adjust opacity to your liking , i usually do around 20% to 30%

Now add a new layer and choose a colour or two that resembles your image , as marins hair is her main statement and its orangish and pink i will choose those two . Fill the canvas with one of your colours and then set the layer as ' overlay '

Adjust the opacity then do the same on a new layer with your second colour ( if you chose one )

Sometimes the image looks too bright so i go to the og image and change the ' brightness and contrast ' in filters !

I just mess with the sliders until im happy

And BWOOM look how cute it is !! (˶˃ᆺ˂˶) No wonder people wanted to copy (˶°ㅁ°)!! ANYWAYYSSS ENJOYYY ~~ ♡ please remember to credit me if you use this colouring !!
