hi, i'm aya! i really love pinocchiop (AKA kudo daihakken), and i consider myself to be his #1 fan! he's my #2 favorite producer behind DECO*27 overall.

the first song i ever listened to by him was "nee nee nee" back in early 2022 through the LOVE album (i was already quite in the vocaloid fandom at this point, so i was actually there for it's release) and i was immediately hooked. i began diving into the rest of his discography, and from there i found "magical girl and chocolate". i kept looking into more songs and that was pretty much that.

i don't talk about pinocchiop nearly as much as I should, but the impact he's had on my life is truly amazing. his instrumentals are so catchy to listen to, and his lyrics are always thought provoking. i love that he uses his own voice as background vocals; in fact, the only other producer that I can recall who does that is mikito p. his music videos are so fun to watch, they're abstract and surreal in the best way. i love that he illustrates them himself, i think it's really creative! it seriously gives him a vibe no other producer has. i adore his little characters aimana and doushite-chan. did you know doushite-chan is the character you see on his profile pictures on most sites like youtube and spotify?

i love that he does non-vocaloid works for other people. his song "ghosts play to to the audience" was actually produced for and sung by nanawoakari, and it didn't get a vocaloid version or mv until the album zero-go was released. the song "404" was produced for and sung by colon, but got a vocaloid version and mv when the album LOVE was released. and his song "the planet big bang" was produced for the singer pmarusama! it got a vocaloid version on his album META. he wrote and produced the song "i'm a controversy" which was sung by ado, and he wrote "ganbare! chrome!" which was a jingle for google japan as an ad campaign. and his song *KICK ASS LITERALLY was commissioned for nnd compass!!!

my top 2 albums by him are LOVE and META! i truly can't choose between the two, though LOVE has slightly higher priority in my eyes. i love them both because of the concepts behind them! LOVE mostly features songs about... love, i guess. in all forms, even the unhealthy ones. this is proven by the songs "loveit", "nee nee nee", "don't be fooled by weird love", and "ultimate senpai". META focuses on songs that talk about the vocaloid scene and the internet/society as a whole. this is proven by the songs "god-ish", "reincarnation apple", "anonymous m", and "kusare-gedou and chocolate". these two albums are very dear to my heart. i think they're very clever! but i also have a soft spot in my heart for HUMAN. the whole album mostly talks about... human experiences. and what it means to be human. i think it's especially interesting how a lot of those songs feature pinocchiop's vocals more prominently. how cool is that? finally, i like his kotobuki album as well!! so many bangers...

my favorite song by him of all time definitely has to be "magical girl and chocolate". i associate it with myself heavily. it's one of the aya songs ever... and i love its ties to "kusare-gedou and chocolate". but of course, i also have lots of love in my heart for "nee nee nee", "apple dot com", and "all i need are the things i like". i really enjoy some of his more recent works, like "fake meme", "super superhero", and "with or without me"! i can't choose any song i particularly dislike from him... i may like some more than others, but i wouldn't say i hate any of them! i think they're all special in their own way.

i genuinely look up to him so much. not in a parasocial way, but i just want to meet him and shake his hand. and maybe hear one of his songs live. his music has gotten me through some of the hardest parts of my life and are probably going to get me through a lot more ♪ i feel lucky to live in the same era as him and get to witness his new projects. i hope he keeps writing music for a long long time.

there was a pinocchiop concert where aimaina and doushite chan showed up onstage as costumes. the event was called CREATURES and it was celebrated for their 15th anniversary since creation. there's also a pinocchiop credit card now. i NEED to visit japan
