Priconne Immersion Guide

The purpose of this rentry is to answer two questions:

  1. How to track down specific story scripts in the estertion site
  2. How to grab cutscene video files, and the corresponding subtitle files

This rentry is NOT meant to be a "Japanese starter guide". This is for who are already in/just starting the immersion stage. Knowing the answer to these 2 questions will speed up the immersion process considerably because it gets rid the need to scan the game's text using OCR by around 90%. More on that on the limitations section of this rentry.

The Site Itself

Go to https://redive.estertion.win/. Bunch of options appear, the one we want is "Story text". Click that.

estertion

You are now in https://redive.estertion.win/story/data/. Lots of names appear. Those are the game's bond stories, clicking on one will show you the episodes within said bond story, Let's try clicking on 0000 and then 011 for now.

011

That's basically it on how to view this game's script. What you're seeing right now is the dialogue that appears in the game's prologue. You can use Yomichan/Yomitan here, that's the way this site is going to help you. You can read the story as usual, and when something you don't know comes up, you can just tab over to immediately look it up instead of having to scan it with OCR first. Another advantage of this is that it's 100% accurate since it's taken straight from the game files. You can also check the 2 boxes if the extra options annoy you.

yomichanzu

Now, go back to https://redive.estertion.win/story/data/.

The IDs

Obviously, we're not going to scroll through the thousands of stories of this game to get to what we want. See that search bar?

search bar

Most of the time, you can look up older stories by just typing its name in there, but since this estertion guy is slow at labeling his shit, we'll need the numbers. I will be covering the "the big 4" stories that appear when you click the Story tab in the game, namely; Main, Extra, Character and Guild stories.

the big 4

Main

Main story IDs go like this:

2xyy

Where:
x is the arc number minus 1
y is the arc chapter

Example:
Let's try getting to the chapter where the gang finally saves Sheffy since that one isn't labeled yet. That's Arc 3 Chapter 9. Now, do some basic math.

x = 3-1
x= 2
and
y= 09

Sub in the numbers and you get 2209. Put that in the search bar.

operation save sheffy

What you're seeing right now is the story. Clicking on on it will show the the episodes within that story. 001-009 are episodes 1-9. 098 and 099 are the intermissions of the chapter. 101-108 are the substories.

Extra

Let's go over events first, since that's kinda the main draw of this game.

Event

Before 7th Anniversary

First, you want to find the order number of the event you want to read. To find it, go to:
https://priconne_redive.rwiki.jp/%E3%82%A4%E3%83%99%E3%83%B3%E3%83%88/

Let's say you want to the Bandit Returns event, its number is 156, take note of that number.

And now, event IDs go like this:
5xxx

Where the xs are the order numbers of the event.

Simply sub the xs with the order number, which means, if you want to read Bandit Returns, you'd put 5156 in the search bar.

If an event has less than 3 digits in their order number, simply sub the missing ones with 0s.
Which means, if you want to read Hatsune's Perfect Present, you'd put 5001. If you want to read the Twinkle Crisis event, you'd put 5010.

For the events that hasn't been added to the link, simply take the latest event's number and add 2 to it. This is because event reruns are also counted in the number order. For example, by the time of writing this, the New Year Gio Gehenna event hasn't been added yet. Simply take Love and Punishment's ID, which is 158, add 2, that makes it 160, and put 5160 in the search bar.

Later in the guide, the ANozomi event is used as an example, take note of its id: 5154.

After 7th Anniversary

Starting with the 7th anniversary, new events are now on 520x where x is the chronological order of the event. This is most likely because of the new event format.

5201 - Dive Astrum
5202 - Andante With You
5203 - GigantiCroche
5204 - Alces & Twilight
5205 - Lady Kanon's Glorious Revenge
5206 - Summer Dream Refrain
5207 - Summer Anemos, Summer Qualia

Luna Tower

It simply goes from 7001 which is Kasumi/Makoto/Yui, to 7029 which is Sheffy/Homare.

Luna Tower - Dimension Vault

Both stories are simply on 4009. Searchable by name.

Adventure

It's on 4001. Searchable by name.

Dungeon

They're all on 4003. 001 is Normal, 022 is EX7. Searchable by name.

Battle Stadium

It's on 4011. Searchable by name.

Arena

Both stories are on 4002. Searchable by name.

Guildhouse

All stories are on 4001. Searchable by name.

Anniversary Countdowns

Starts on 9002 which is 3rd anniversary. Hops to 9004 which is 4th, then the rest of the anniversaries can be accessed simply by increasing the number by 1.

Birthday Stories

Are on 4010. But most of them are stored as video files, and estertion has stopped dumping video files after some point, so some of the pages just have a blank video player that plays nothing. We'll talk about another place that hosts video files in the Movies and Subtitles section of this rentry.

For 2025's birthday stories that are in the usual VN format, Pecorine's birthday story is number 164. You can easily tell because the file size is now in KB instead of B. For the rest of the stories, it should simply follow a chronological order.

Character

First, go to https://redive.estertion.win/card/full/

characters

Type in the name of the character whose story you want to read. In Japanese, and this site is picky, so katakana only. If nothing shows up, that means you'll have to scroll. But most of the time, the unlabeled characters are on top anyways.

kokkoro

After taking your pick, uncheck Show name. You don't need to do this if the character whose story you want to read isn't labeled yet, just showing it for example.

rkokk

Copy the first 4 digits of the number below the picture of the character. If there's no numbers, you haven't unchecked Show name.

rkokk copied

Go back to https://redive.estertion.win/story/data/ and put those 4 numbers in the search bar.

rkokklove

And there it is, RKokk's stories. Seems like this one has been labeled already, so I could've just searched by name, but it's good to know how to search by ID since again, this estertion guy is slow.

Guild

It simply goes from 3001 which is Gourmet Guild, to 3017 which is Dragon's Nest. All of these are so old, you can just search them by name.

For Alces, they're on 3022 for some reason. Not searchable by name yet.

Movies and Subtitles

I finally answered this question of mine from more than a year ago.

Getting the mp4 File

Let's try getting the cutscene where Nozomi rapes Kishikun. Just so we're clear, first, let's go back to https://redive.estertion.win/story/data/.

Now, remember the Nozosniffa event ID I gave you earlier? That's right, it's 5154. Now, let's put it into the search bar.

sniifer

The cutscene is on the prologue, which is 000. Let's click on that. The cutscene plays at the end of the episode, so let's scroll all the way down, too.

poorfag

Oh no! There seems to be nothing here. As I mentioned before, the poor estertion guy ran out of disk space and can't afford more, so we simply don't get anything now. But don't worry, all we need from here is the movie's ID. See that "movie: 515400001"? Copy the 515400001 and paste it somewhere for now.

Now, thankfully, we have another video dump managed by an anon. It's https://mega.nz/folder/bNAESZ6I#_owT4z-7A9TD3JoDeZKj-Q. It's the link labeled as L2D in https://rentry.org/resources_pcrg. Click the mega link.

thanks richchad anon

Now, click on movies.

literally all the videos of this game

Now, remember the ID I told you to copy? It's 515400001, in case you didn't. Put it in the search bar.

rape tape

And there it is, Nozomi's rape tape. Now just download it and place it somewhere. You now have acquired the Nozomi rape tape.

idol scandal

Getting the vtt File

Can't understand raw Japanese just yet? Don't worry, all cutscenes in this game have official subtitles that show up when you disable in-game voices. But...not using voices kinda defeats the purpose of using this game to immerse, no? So, we'll just have to grab the file ourselves!

First, go to https://redive.estertion.win/movie/vtts/.

subtitles

Lot's of numbers here. But here's the thing; the subtitle's ID is the same as the movie's ID! So, finding the subtitle file to Nozomi's rape tape is as simply as doing CTRL + F. So...go do that and put Nozomi's rape tape ID. It's 515400001.

subtitles2

There's your subtitle file. Now, let's save it. RIGHT CLICK on 515400001.vtt

subtitles3

click on Save link as...

subtitles4

click on Save.

subtitles5
There you have it. The subtitle file downloaded.

Also, right clicking is important! Just to show you, this is what you'll see if you left click.

garbage

And no, copy pasting it into notepad and saving it as .vtt does NOT work. I have tried.

Note: If you can't find the vtt file, that's most likely because that cutscene simply doesn't have any spoken lines. An example of this is in the Magical Noires event where in the first cutscene, it's just the noire trio drooling over KSKN.

With both files in hand...what now?

rape

This is where I'd tell you to use subs2srs to use them...but I don't personally use it myself, so I can't demonstrate. So, I tried to upload them to YouTube so I can use Yomichan/Yomitan on it, and it works!

youtube

And here is the link if you wanna see it yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpd7qxaw1Yc
Yeah I'm namedropping myself, whatever.

Limitations

First, a story is only shown on estertion if it's in the usual VN format. Which means, stories presented in the dairy format or chibis talking don't show up. Or I simply haven't figured out a way to track it. Despite being in the usual VN format, intimacy episodes can't be found either. But those are so short anyways, so it's kinda whatever.

VN
This can be tracked down in estertion somewhere.

dairy
chibi
intimacy
These three cannot.

Second, I haven't figured out how raids work. I did only promise to show "the big 4", and raids aren't included there, but still, raids are a pretty big thing, no? It's definitely in my to-do list, but I'm not going to bother looking for it until I start reading arc 2, which won't be in a few years.

And third and most obvious one...this site can randomly go down whenever the fuck it wants. We've also seen the guy cut costs and stop uploading certain things, so there's a possibilty he stops uploading the things we discussed here. Still, we're really only grabbing story scripts and subtitles which should be small in size, so storage shouldn't be a problem...right?

Anyways, the point of this section is that I want to say this: just keep your OCR around. You need it for the 10% this guide doesn't cover and whenever the site goes down. ShareX is a pretty good software even outside Japanese learning, anyways.

Contact

Just give me a shout in the thread, I'm there most of the time. If you're in Ayumisters, feel free to just directly talk to me. I don't bite, unless that's what you're into.

Good luck on your immersion.
