Different "chiefdoms" organized under House societies/clans(need conlang name)
characteristics: leadership and membership not defined by kinship relations, but rather by connection to an area of land, but intrafamily relation still mattered, though less emphasized. Elected leader, though kin of previous leader usually have greater advantage, also only eldest member of "respected" households allowed to vote
freer association and movement, marriage mostly seen as spiritual, and romantic, less pragmatic
East: bigger but fewer "chiefdoms" but more dispersed, looser association, more pastoral lifestyle
West: smaller in size, but a lot more numerous, stricter, relatively more stratified organization, largely sedentary, closer composition to petty early republics
inter chiefdom/house societies relations: some conflicts for land and resources esp. in the West, East relatively more peaceful though conflict more defined by grudges, personal disagreements etc.
east-west relations: clam but marked by certain periods of conflict between pastoral ppl and sedentary ppl, esp. during period of scarce resources, but riverine and land trade relatively rich
still egalitarian? chiefs and elders not encouraged to horde wealth
harsher life style(due to schizos), living on the edge of imperial influence, though (re)mastered metal working considerably faster than rest of the world,
also sees education/record keeping important, due to books retained after calamity important in rebuilding society, and old imperial influence. Society in both sides also see such as essential at running its society/for its values.

~460 organised(relative) Owl worship start, also new imperial immigrants from /hlgg/, speeds up growth and made complex organization of gov of certain proto-republic in region 4(or 6, whatever, near capital)
~490 first full republic with owl worship as religion, after confederating with other similar states, started both limited conquest and absorbing Western states
~500 republic officially named Owl Republic (size around region 4,5,6 4 maybe smaller than now)
soon after schizo war starts, but more chiefdoms also join, esp to the West, near the coast
Founding war:
first ~50 years: difficult, many cities isolated, only able to hold together due to spread of gov institution, fighting spirit and catalognauts, no access to the sea. Eastern chiefdoms barely holding on, some modeled after republic
sec ~50 years: finally access to the sea, West largely stabilised though still significant sea borne raids, large invasions still happens, goods finally able to flow limitedly, starts skirmish with Eastern states and chiefdoms as some fell to de facto schizo control or join schizos
last ~75-90 years: large campaigns to stabilize East, intermittent invasions and sieges

characteristics of the first ~70 years of war: conscripts often hastily called into service, lacks training, can't conduct much large scale offensive, only responds to sieges and smaller scale attacks. loosely formed with winged spears and large shields favored. gunpowder used but limited almost no net territorial gain
Charateristics of the superceeding ~60 years: military reforms, corp of professionally trained army emerge, more eastern influences as members joined or subjugated. after reform, able to sweep through all the way to the coast and establish control of mostly region 9 and southern 8. though war in the east grinding due to small raiders harrasing supply lines and large body of troops unable to maneuver.
turn of the tide? gun powder weapon esp. cannon can be seen in every army
Charateristics of last ~40 years: even larger campaigns that penetrates into less develop territory. Large sieges rarer as schizos slowly loses steam. East would be almost completely occupied, capital no longer threatened. Small naval force mostly of modified merchant ships established, pushed schizos out of islands. coast completely stablised. firearms became more and more common. situation in the east improved vastly due to large scale adoption of new tech, reformed logistics from better prepared campaigns

foreign relations: /uuu/: friendly, frequent interaction
/rrat/: also friendly but communications intermitten
/nasa/: ain't there yet
/inf/: hostile, as some clocks joined raiding bands and relations negative due to religious difference
hoshiyomi: pragmatic trade relations esp in mid stage of war(blockaded/dangerous waters), alliance would only come decades after war ended.
other EN split: generally positive even if communications limited
/hlgg/: indifference to slightly hostile(?) models slightly hostile comments and rule violating posts during first few months

large immigration wave comes after tail end of war [incline arc in around mid Sept to Nov(iirc), but obviusly pushed back due to war]

Other, general comments:
Yeah now that I have actually given some thoughts about it if one were to emulate the influx of popualtion from persummably /hlgg/ from the start of the thread then maybe having the capital in the middle of the country dosen't make that much sense. though that can be modified, esp. because the Risu logs didn;t really talked about any of its hsitory, only some general description so that can be changed relatively freely.

also now that I think about it most of the East might not be a hilly enviroment at all, rather more of a platau beacuse that's how it formed, but needs to ask other anons for that and I don't have the original .map file.
