Pallas, Athena's Beloved
God Rank: D
Synchronization Rate: 100%
Level: 8
Influence: 20/12,800
Divinity: 410/410 (-40)
Directive: Glorious Combat
You gain Influence whenever you defeat an opponent in combat, proportional to their incarnation power and skill. You may gain bonus influence by intentionally limiting your system-based abilities to put yourself on par with your opponent
Secondary Directive: Life on the Line
You gain influence at the end of a fight proportional to the risk you incur by fighting, regardless of the outcome.
Trait: True Spearmaster
Any authorities which would increase weapon proficiency instead increase speed and strength
Trait: Goliath Slayer
When faced with an enemy with substantially more size, power, or divinity than yourself, you gain a proportional increase in speed and strength
Pantheon: Ancient Giants
Assemble your pantheon to gain a bonus to the effective level of all authorities, as well as a bonus authority that is only available upon full pantheon assembly
Authorities (12/15):
Primordial Body (EX):
Increases the effective level of all physical enhancement and regeneration authorities by half your level
Unyielding Survivor (EX):
Increases the effective level of all combat authorities the closer you are to death, with a maximum multiplier of 2x the level of the authority
Giant's Might (8):
You may infuse yourself with divinity, strengthening the power and durability of your body. Overuse may cause damage to connective or skeletal tissue. Max Usage: 1 divinity per second. It is possible to activate this skill on reflex.
You Move, Wind Follows (8)
You can infuse divinity into your body, causing you to move faster. Using the skill for prolonged periods of high capacity can lead to muscle soreness. Max Usage: 5 divinity per second. It is possible to activate this skill on reflex.
While this authority is active, it is possible to run on air and water for a limited amount of time. The air pressure from your movements and strikes becomes infused with divinity, causing damage to opponents. Your perception of time is slowed by one half of the factor of the speed increase.
Cutting Edge (7):
Infuses your weapon with divinity, increasing its sharpness allowing you to pierce through the defenses of other incarnations. When using this authority, you may extend the reach of the weapon by up to 3 meters, though the power of the strike will diminish the farther away from the weapon it lands.
Battle Acuity (8)
Slows down your perception of time to at minimum one tenth of the real time speed. Using at maximum output for extended periods of time may cause damage to your brain and nervous system. Maximum output: 10 divinity per second.
Additionally, when active, this authority widens your field of vision to 330 degrees and removes all blind spots that exist as a consequence of the human eye.
Athena's Cunning (7)
Hides the presence of yourself and your weapons and equipment. Additionally, obscures the information that can be gleaned about you or your <Myths>. While this authority is active, it is possible to alter your opponent's perception of your actions in combat, causing them to perceive a different plausible action instead. Can fail against higher level authorities. Negates the information gathering effects of shop items available below level 7, as well as similar effects provided by divine relics below rare grade.
Regeneration (6):
You may expend divinity to recover from any injury or from supernatural physical conditions such as <Rot> or <Petrification>. The amount of divinity necessary to heal an injury depends on its nature and severity. So long as at least 85% of your cells remain alive, you can regenerate even if critical damage is done to vital structures.
Omen (6):
Gives you a premonition whenever you are at risk of immediate death or severe bodily harm. Also indicates the general direction of the danger. You also gain an instinctual understanding of not just the direction and severity, but the general nature of the oncoming threat. Also alerts you to the presence of poisons. The premonitions you receive also extend to both the immediate harm of the people around you, as well as circumstances that, while not necessarily lethal, could lead to long term incapacitation or incarceration. Consumes divinity whenever it activates
Weapon Training (Spear) (7):
Does not consume divinity. Gives proficiency with a chosen weapon. Can be taken multiple times. The focus of this skill can be changed by expending the influence required to level it up. You may also infuse divinity into the weapon of choice, increasing its destructive power (max of 30 per minute). Your speed., strength, and endurance are all enhanced while wielding your weapon of choice. In addition, the effective level of authorities that are directly related to your weapon and items of your weapon type are increased by 1.
Fleet of Foot (8):
You can infuse divinity into your body, causing you to move faster. While this authority is active, you instinctively avoid running into trip hazards, projectiles, and other obstacles. Using the skill for prolonged periods of high capacity can lead to muscle soreness. Max Usage: 5 divinity per second. It is possible to activate this skill on reflex.
Finishing Strike (8):
You can imbue a strike with a large quantity of divinity, causing a single, devastating increase in power upon landing. The effective level of this authority is equal to its actual level. Additionally, you may enable <Finishing Strike> to correct the trajectory of your strikes, assisting in the landing of a lethal blow. However, should you fail to kill with this attack, the backlash will cause the remaining divinity to run rampant within your body, potentially causing lethal damage.
Ursine Body (8):
Increases your base speed, strength, durability, and stamina to double that of a polar bear. While this authority is active, all of your senses, including smell, hearing, and vision are significantly enhanced. Other authorities which would normally act on your base specs apply after rather than alongside the effects of this authority, effectively increasing their effective levels by one third of the level of this authority, rounding up (though, when tabulating it this way, the effective level of this authority can be presumed to be zero.)
Titles:
<Warrior’s Body>
You gain the physique best suited for your style of combat. The specifics of the form you take are based on your own assessment of the ideal warrior.
