Proposed rules:

It's mandatory to take End Times you get 10 points for it
The rest of the drawbacks can be bought too as described in the CYOA, but they will count against your public order rolls.
To be the Emperor you can take Title Upgrade twice.
Declare whether your noble is in the North, East, South, West, or Central.
North and East have hostile neighbors
South has piracy issues
West has an angry volcano
Central is stable but you have a lot less autonomy from the Emperor
You have 10 years to make alliances, prepare, draw plans, research try to find Abaddon
Abaddon will strike from an unknown quarter. Historical research may provide clues onto where he'll hit.
Hero retinue will contribute to the win timer, this contribution will persist even if your character is killed, but it'll provide you with no personal bonuses.

Anons will lay out their plans for the ten years of preparation, talk amongst themselves, whatever.

Greentext your actionable orders. Be brief.

If you bury your orders in a writefag, your prose better be fucking great or I'll just ignore. I'll start the actual invasion on Tuesday 21st, barring insanely lucky/ unlucky rolls for the peace time preparations. Turns will be one season, and I'd like to conduct a turn every TWO DAYS after (Saturdays are a free day). Turn details will be pretty matter of fact, don't expect a novel out of me every action, but since I'm terminally online I'll most often be around to offer clarification on anything that isn't bitching about dice rolls.
Inactivity won't get you puppeted, just ignored and potentially killed depending on how I feel that day. Not linking to the CYOA might get you the same. If you did link and I missed it, negative effects on you get retconned and you get the 5e advantage on your next roll.

Victory

You have two paths to victory. Either you kill the Demon Lord in the course of battle (good luck). Or you run out the Hero timer in the rules.

Hero Timer

Research Actions can help the Hero Timer (finding out the demon's weakness, discovering holy artifacts, etc.) A hero lord is allowed to join the Hero quest, but his personal bonuses will not help his demesne at all. However, he WILL help the hero timer a ton.

Demon Lord's Victory

He kills you all before the hero timer runs out. It's very possible he will succeed. He's broken. However, the dice hate me, so it's entirely possible his campaign halts at the first castle.

Actions

Every action will check at least one of 4 bonus pools.

Economic
Military
Diplomacy
Research

Personal bonuses and demesne bonuses will apply to all. Limit yourself to two actions please.

Bonus Pools:

I'm using a 3d6 system behind the screen. Your bonuses add up at a rate of +1 per applicable upgrade. The origins and Domain Type are the biggest bonus source and are as follows:

Origins
Land Lord:

+2 Economy

Merchant Lord

+1 Economy, +1 Diplomacy

Militant Lord

+2 Military

Adventurer

Floating +1 to be assigned by you at any phase.

Political Lord

+2 Diplomacy

Scholar Lord

+2 Intelligence

Demesne
Urban

+2 Diplomacy

Heartland

+2 Economy

Backwoods

+1 Intelligence, +1 Economy

Borderlands

+2 Military

Periphery

+1 Intelligence, +1 Military

Outlands

Floating +1 to be assigned by you at any phase.

Boons are less obvious and will apply as I deem appropriate. If you think a boon should apply to your action, draw my attention to it by listing the boon beneath the order in green text. You can make your case for it, but make sure you do that beneath the boon in regular text.
