⠀ Hi! Welcome to my extended information! It's very nice to meet you. My name is Avalyn or just Aya. I am 15 years old (born February 2011!) and a Black American growing up on the East Coast. Let's get along!

⠀ I use it/its and she/her pronouns. I don't mind which one you use the most as long as you promise to switch it up once in a while! As far as labels go, I am bisexual. Anything beyond that is just noise to me. Despite popular belief, I'm not cisgender! I'm unlabeled. Gender isn't at the top of my priority list right now. But honestly, I'm not too picky about how you choose to perceive me. I present very femininely, so I understand naturally people will see me as a girl most of (if not all) the time. Just don't use masculine terms on me and we should be just fine!

⠀ Just like everyone else online, I am disordered! Never fear, as this does not make me any less cute. However, it does mean I am not stable in any way. And I can't mask. Oops. I get very sad (or angry) over things that can be considered trivial. I can also go from high energy to low energy and back again in the blink of an eye. More often than not, I don't filter myself before speaking and I tend to say whatever suits me in the moment before weighing the consequences. This, paired with the fact that 75% of my humor consists of me poking fun at others, causes me to frequently come off as insensitive, oblivious, or just plain rude. I never truly mean it! Joking around is my biggest coping mechanism. Always take everything I say with a grain of salt because I don't take myself seriously and therefore neither should you.

⠀ It's not unheard of for me to ghost even my closest friends. It's usually never personal! Most of the time, I simply got distracted and forgot to respond. Otherwise, I didn't know what to say next or didn't feel emotionally well enough to continue the conversation. If it's been over a day or two and you still haven't gotten a response, you are more than welcome to bump your message or check in, but please do not put pressure on me. It will just make me upset and I will shut down the conversation entirely. A general rule of thumb regarding interactions with me is that I do best in more public settings, like group chats or public timelines. Direct messages? Not so much! I fear intimacy. I find it hard to make friends and initiate conversations but once I get comfortable enough I am talkative and hyperverbal.

⠀ Were you expecting a DNI? If you ask me, they're overrated. I know what I will and won't tolerate. I am really lenient and a big believer in second chances though. All you have to know is that I am very loyal to people who I consider my friends, so if they don't like you, I don't like you either! I also am not the biggest fan of transmeds or TERFs and tend to avoid them, but in the event we stumble upon each other I will just be careful to limit close interactions. However, I doubt I'll run into people like that on a site like this! I am also wary of men who claim to be lesbians, just so you know.

⠀ Regarding things I am interested in... everyone who knows me is aware I love DECO*27 more than life itself! It's been this way since March 2022. This will not change. Ever. The same goes for PinocchioP, and really just Vocaloid as a whole since it's been a huuuge part of my life since I was just a wee little lass. Some other things I am obsessed with (albeit to a lesser degree) are fashion, dolls, VNs/RPGs, and much more. You're always free to reach out if you think there's something I would enjoy. I've dipped my toes in just about everything!

⠀ Lastly, I am pro-fiction, anti-harassment, and anti-censorship. I am by no means perfect. I'm growing and changing everyday! I am always very open to talking things out so if I've ever done anything that rubbed you the wrong way, don't hesitate to reach out... provided you have good intentions, of course.
