Despite being one of the antagonists of the series, he doesn't hide his respect for Arisu's team for making it far enough to face him. He's conversing freely with him while still being in the game and agrees to a handshake. He views his bandmates as equal to him, giving everybody the same amount of points, even if it lead to their demise. He's deeply connected to his teammates, which shows when they're about to die. All of them look up at the sky the same moment he does, even though they weren't in the same place. Due to his father's death from stomach cancer, Kyuma understood how precious, yet short life was. He decided to enjoy every moment and not hold back so that he could die without regrets.
