A bunch of rotten apples (Legion?)

“Damn it. Villains are disappearing from this city block, and we don’t know WHERE they went to.” A policeman whined while he and his partner walked through the archives of a police station in Kyoto. They were trying to see if any recent event could be the reason for the strange diminishment in petty villains’ numbers.

Something felt strange about the two, the air was off about them.

“Yeah., We could be given something more useful, but the higher-ups want us to see what is happening here.” His partner yawned. They were on this for whole hours, but couldn’t find anything. Nothing was amiss or strange, aside from the disappearance of many villains in a short period.

“You two, you are tired. Here, I brought a coffee.” A middle-aged policewoman brought them two cups of coffee. The two policemen blushed a little and left out dry laughs. They were there for hours, and found nothing, even with the help of the local garrison there.

They took the coffee and sighed. At least the coffee was good and at the perfect temperature. “I think we should go back and report that we found nothing.”

“This is so sad. I hope we can be of help still. Just give us a call, and we will try our best.” The policemen finished the coffee quickly and went out, accompanied by the other police officers.

Soon, the eyes of the entire police station were on their backs. The middle-aged woman scratched her wrist, where the symbol of a Legion stood…

The entire garrison had those symbols on their wrists…

Between those children with the weight of the world on their shoulders, two teenagers facing Sandatsu and nearly winning, and all the problems that came with their original mission, things were not easy for Waver and Law.

Worse yet, the rumors of Legion setting their sights on Kyoto started to spread in unsavory circles. Waver and Law ditched their wigs and costumes of two ordinary policemen. “This is not even our job here,” Law whined.

Somehow the government lost their shit once the knowledge of Legion began to move reached their ears. What was feared was their making a move to recruit McCarthy.

The rumors of Legion moving, and the disappearance of villains were not isolated events, they knew that. “Anyway, what could set them off? They were in Tokyo doing something.” Waver complained. Legion was not a normal villainous organization. A cult and terrorists were more in line with their M.O than being supervillains.

Their way of doing things was almost old-fashioned by modern standards. This meant that when they appeared, storms brewed and chaos followed. Rumours were that they somehow had weapons from the century of chaos still intact, and ready to be used.

‘They even used in Tokyo.’ Waver though. Their use of weapons of mass destruction in Tokyo was one of the few confirmed events in their name. They were good at hiding, too good…

“I don’t know, but I bet it is connected to Sandatsu somehow,” Law grunted.

“Oh, and apparently there is a Feral look-alike on the loose.” Waver picked up his phone to see the news, and it was there, someone nearly identical to Feral, wandering the streets of Kyoto.

“Damn it.”
