Ten Year Plan: Concepts

Kekaisaran Mathara technically starts the ten-year plan in 1126 but formally in 1128

Aspects:

  • Establishing a new capital at Megahraja.
  • Establishing many new cities made of brick, mortar and stone.
  • Tapping into the resources of the South
  • Inviting "Foreigners of Interests" to settle many of these new cities. These include: Pomeranians, Solarians, Syrenians, Pelates, Lusitanians, Syndeoneians, Tsukijin, Bedstviyite, and Oiseaux. Oiseaux will be the largest, followed by the Pomeranians. Each one of these groups provides skilled artisans, engineers, scientists and artists to build the new realm.
  • Establish a proper currency using Gold, Silver and Copper coinage.
  • Establish a road network connecting the new cities.
  • Establish an official language and script, using Oiseaux influences. Écureuil will be the language of the elites while Tupaimerkati the common tongue.
  • Establish the Patriarchate of (Blank), officially making the Patriarch the head of religion within the Empire, who nominally submits to the Rishama.
  • "Harmony through Nature" Edict: Official Church Doctrine that promotes the believe in harmony with nature and the surrounds, mankind being part of the ecosystem and that the forest, the cities, and the farms cohabitate the land equally. This also reserves areas as Sacred Forests. Met with backlash.
  • The foundation of the Navy established through connections with the Imperial Tsukinode Navy and the K.A.G. in the construction of Alstroemeria and Leontyne. Conductions include these two cities being naval bases for the ITN and centers of the KAG regionally. Admiralties and Training Schools are built in both of these cities that have heavy Tsukijin influence and are lead for the time being by the ITN until the Tupai can take over properly.
  • Diversification of the Economy and foundations for Autarky. Emphasis not only military but all things.
  • Code of Laws
  • Joyo Cahya promotes his friends into positions of nobility. He also invites the second sons of many nobles from the foreigners of interest, believing that they will be loyal to his new state (This turns out to be correct, I am basing this off the Russians with Baltic Germans and their use of Germans in general.) Beyond needing man of stature for their own peoples, he also in particular desires them for their skill in the military and believes they will bring success to his next reform.
  • Establishment of a Military Academy, known as École Royale Militaire, which both the foreigner émigrés and the local Tupai can be trained in the modern arts of war.
  • Organization of a proper army, based around 15,000 regulars for now. The levies still make up bulk of army.

TL:

  • 1124, Tigarasaka. Commodus hailed as Joyo Cahya and consults Maumigny on what he should do. Maumigny tells him to become the great man that he is destined to be. He manages to rally tribes to his banner and has a vision in the sight of his future capital telling him that from here, he will rule. Founds the city of Megahraja
  • 1125: Word of the chosen one rallies tribe after tribe. Joyo Cahya marches on Panrong in June and the population overthrow the local government and hail Joyo Cahya as lord. Joyo Cahya hires Pomeranian Mercenaries under (name to be chosen) and consolidates his holds.
  • 1126: Joyo Cahya takes rest of the south before marching north in May. On July 10th, Joyo Cahya, with an army of 30,000 including Khosrow, and the Pomeranians meet the first true threat to his rise, a large group of Tupai tribes, pretty much all that could be rallied between Panrong and the Infinity Road, funded by Infintium near the town of Iskanbawan, some 45,000. This force was raised by the self-proclaimed "Defender of the Tupai and Champion of Freedom" Adi Candra. (Maybe Infinity sends men, idk). It is a crushing victory that rides on the shoulders of Khosrow and the Pomeranians. The Asbārān Cataphracts and the Asbārān Shivtar prove devastating to the tribals, who charged at Cahya's line, broke the Tupai but were halted by the Pomeranians. It was then that the Asbārān struck on both wings and the army imploded. Some 15,000 were killed or wounded and 20,000 captured. Adi Candra escapes to wage Guerilla warfare. Joyo Cahya consolidates and raises more men. Reports from the North inform him of the threat coming his way.
  • 1127: Joyo Cahya, who planned to take Sabatangan this year to conclude his conquests for now is confronted by an existential threat in the form of the massive army under Vijaya. Cahya, raising even more men and mercenaries, marches north to meet him near Sabatangan. In a bloody 3-day battle, both sides are exhausted, but Cahya wins as Vijaya cannot defeat him. Cahya turns his attention to Sabatangan, and declares it under his protection; signing a treaty that states as much. His conquests are now complete but guerilla warfare is continued to be waged in his north for several years.
  • 1128-30: Cahya begins his interior work in earnest, inviting peoples to come and settle.
  • 1132: Cahya appoints the Patriarch of (name), to counter the Rishama's demands for him to submit to them formally.
