You clear your throat.
she didn't hear you because she's wearing headphones
...You step closer and clear your throat louder
the shape of something moving caught the corner of her eye and when she sees you, she gets startled
"GUH!" she calls out, accidently dropping her phone, her earphones forcefully flinging out of her ears and follow the fallen phone...
She sighs and turns her attention to you.
"Yeah what is it, can't you see im busy dead be-"
you remind her that you asked her out on a date
she gazes into you, her face becoming a shade of pink as she panics
"FUCK! I didn't realize that it was today already!"
Embarrassed she leaps off of her throne and scurries around the room to put her hair in a pony tail and puts her casual clothes on
"alright deadbeat it's time to go!"
she walks up to you and wraps one arm around you, her scythe appearing in her hand
she taps the ground with the bottom of her scythe.
under the both of your feet the ground becomes a tar like sludge that swallows you both up.

"What! It's all i could think of in such short notice! besides, I' saving you money! why spend $100 for a two person meal at some expensive restaurant when you and i can spend like 5$ on a shitty burger and fries?"
you can't really argue...besides, it's the company that matters more. you turn to look at the menu at the drive through
"besides, did you see that sick teleportation thing I did, pretty cool right?"
she brags spinning her scythe around before it flings out of her grasp
the sound of a car accident is heard in the distance
you turn to her and she quickly puts her hands to her back

you order a burger with no pickles
