guyysss i love silent hill 1 so much. literal perfect 10/10 game. its somehow underrated despite being the first game in the series.

sh1 has the best otherworld design and the best music out of all the silent hill series imo. sh2 is close second for music, although i just am personally partial to the amount of industrial and triphop tracks in sh1—my two favorite genres!!!! oh my god dude, fun fact, theres portishead (i love portishead) posters on the windows in the cafe of sh1, but theyre so pixelated they never got copyrighted. theres actually an insane amount of copyrighted material hidden in the crunchy posters of sh1. okay but also not to mention sh1 has the most GOATED protag.
harry after casually killing god for his daughter. cheryl is great too love that gal but she was raised by an absolute legend so duh shes great herself. love james too but hes lowk insane and henry is also goated but sh4 is just not as good as sh1 sorry chat. harry just has the bars. genuinely need sh1 remake ASAP purely for more harry merch. and istg if they butcher his design or personallity i will personally execute everyone at blooberteam then everyone at konami. im scared theyll make him too handsome and young looking OR too old and ugly. he doesnt need to be model hot but not ugly either. ok since im side tangenting abt sh1r possibilites now i needa mention that im actually gonna go crazy if they butcher cybil or lisa. hate on the first silent hill movie all you want but i actually enjoy cybil and lisa's castings alot. i want a more og take on cybil, since they changed her personality in the movie quite a bit (it works in the movie though), but the design was actually peak. i hope we spend more time with cybil in the remake too, and a DLC similar to silent hill: play novel would be so cool. is silent hill: play novel too niche of a ref...
