The god of Christianity is not perfect.
A perfect god, who declares he is so perfect he cannot even look upon sin (which is why we need salvation), wouldn't have chosen the ancient Israelites as his special, treasured tribe.
A limitless god, who is unbound by time and knows all things before they occur, couldn't possibly choose the ancient Israelites without knowing what the final outcome would be.
If Yahweh made a mistake when he chose the Jews - which is the point of Christianity, that god needed to move on from the Jews and expand his "gift" to the rest of the world - then Yahweh is not perfect.
If Yahweh is not perfect, we were never meant to pursue the nihilistic "aspirational" goal of perfection.
If Yahweh is not perfect, our imperfection is not a curse or burden of guilt.
If Yahweh is not perfect, the basis of his claim to eternal authority over all things - which depends on Yahweh's eternal perfection establishing eternal supremacy - collapses.
If Yahweh is not perfect, we were never perfect, and we've always been exactly as we are today - intelligent, capable, special...and fallible.
If Yahweh is not perfect, the bible materially and deliberately lies.
Paradoxes are a deception. We were not meant to accept delusion as eternal truth, which is what every paradox in Christianity actually is, in practical terms.
A perfect god would not choose the worst people on Earth as his cherished tribe, tasked with saving the world.
There is no alternative. There is no "god is perfect, and we're too limited as humans to understand why his mistake wasn't a mistake." That's psychotic.
Yahweh fucked up everything, over and over. He deliberately put the wheels in motion for the hell we're in today, by elevating the worst fucking people who have ever existed - and will ever exist as the bearers of his gospel to the world.
Your job as a human isn't to rationalize and defend this obvious insanity as perfect and righteous. Your job as a human is to use your intellect to critically analyze everything, including this.
Does it make sense for a perfect god to make such a catastrophic mistake with such far-reaching consequences that continue to harm the world to this day?
If the answer is "yes," it's time to wake up and recognize you are brainwashed and manipulated to defend the indefensible.
Instead of insisting we humans are simply too stupid to see this god's perfection, we should hold our gods to the standard we hold ourselves, and prohibit our gods from behaving so dishonestly and hypocritically.
The god of the bible, the god of Abraham and Isaac, the god of the Christian religion, is not perfect. Not ony is he not perfect, he has repeatedly shown us how poor his judgment actually is. If you wouldn't trust the judgment of a person who consistently chooses to elevate and protect terrible people, why trust the judgment of a god who does the same?
He deserves no respect and no worship. He certainly deserves no fear on the part of humans. He only deserves denigration and total rejection, like all malicious liars.
