TL:DR Failed isekaied hero awakens as a ghost version of himsef. He is now bitter and gloomy but still determined to explore, if anything at least out of spite.
Lushian is a strange Riolu, appearing darker and almost faded at times, with eerie glowing marks and eyes that occasionally shift to a red hue. He used to be normal, a random guy called in from another world to save this one from impending doom. He was a normal Riolu back then, now he barely remembers either of his two previous lives, all he knows is that he failed. His optimism and ideal of adventure are gone.
His outlook on adventure has changed from the past, but his determination remains. The world is strange and unfamiliar, a grim reminder of what he failed to protect, even if he doesn't remember what was before he know it's partially his fault things are like this now and the vague memories are enough to tell him they used to be better. Unsure of what to do with his new life he considers the current situation a sort of punishment, or a chance at redemption. He is conflicted about it but for now he tries to find more information, his fragmented memories are not enough, he needs something concrete.
The City feels familar but alien at the same time, the buildings speak to him and the sings feel so close to making sense. His abilities as a pokemon also feel different than before, he sees things he didn't before, but he's not sure if it's a change or if it's the world that changed instead. Something deep inside him tells him to be angrier about this, that he shouldn't be this calm, that they should all pay for what they did, but it feels strange to listen to the voices in your head when you don't even remember what they mean, at least he is pretty sure they were not there before.
Battered but not completely defeated he will keep exploring the dungeons and searching for answers. Who knows, maybe he will find something worth fighting for at some point.
