"Hey, want to go out tonight?"

Kronii's eyes darted over the text before replying, "Mumei, it's 3 in the morning, what are you doing up?"

"I killed a guy and I need help burying the body."

Kronii chuckled, Oh, Mumei, you're so silly.

She replied, "Sure, why not?"

Within seconds, Kronii heard a knock at her door. She peaked through the peephole and was not about to open it for someone wearing a ski mask--until she noticed the ski mask had two feathers sticking out the top.

She opened the door, "Oh my god, Mumei, are you serious with that outfit?"

Mumei nodded, "Yeah! What's wrong with it?"

Mumei spun around coyly as Kronii replied, "Well, I'm beginning to think I'm underdressed."

"Oh, don't worry about that, you look great Kronii. Come on! I already got the bodies in some bags in the trunk of this rental, we just got to find a place to bury them."

Kronii shook her head. Mumei was going really far with this roleplay, but that's what she loved about her, "Alright, alright, give me a moment to put on my shoes."

"Come on, hurry up, I'll be waiting in the car!"

"Alright, alright already, hold your horses."

As Kronii got in, Mumei was dead silent and immediately started speeding.

"Whoooa, Mumei, why are you going so fast?!"

"Because it's 3 in the morning. Nobody is around! Also, we have to get some distance before the cops start searching."

"Man, you are really committed to this bit."

Mumei blinked, "Oh yes. Look in the back seat. I have shovels and everything."

Kronii looked behind her, "Oh my god, you actually do."

"Are," Kronii started to laugh, "Are we actually going to dig a grave?"

"Of course! It's not helping with a murder scene without a shallow grave, now is it?"

Kronii shook her head, "I guess no--"

She almost got whiplash from the car hitting the brakes and going into the forest with no headlights on.

"OH MY GOD, MUMEI, WH--WHHHHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Kronii crawled back in her seat as every tree fly by them risking near death.

"Don't worry, this car is meant for offroading."

Kronii was screaming, "NOT GOING 40 AT 3 IN THE MORNING WITH NO HEADLIGHTS ON, MUMEI. MUMEI, STOP THE CAR."

"MUMEI!"

"MUMEI PLEASE!"

"STOPTHECARSTOPTHECARSTOPTHECA--"

Mumei slammed on the brakes suddenly, rocking Kronii around in her seat.

She started at Kronii and smiled, "O.K.! Stopped!"

Kronii was breathing heavily, "Oh, oh my god Mumei. You're insane. Don't you think maybe--"

Mumei already left as Kronii could hear the trunk open, "Help me Kroooniii"

Kronii gathered her breath as she rolled her eyes and got out of the car, "Don't tell me you brought your gar--"

Kronii winced at the smell, "Mumei! Did you actually bring your garbage here?!"

Mumei paused, parsing what Kronii said before slowly nodding her head, "Yes. Garbage."

Kronii shook her head, "I can not believe how committed you are to this," she opened the back door and grabbed a shovel, "Alright fine, I'll dig, but those bags stink and I am NOT touching them."

"What? No, you can't do that."

Kronii chuckled, "What do you mean?"

"You--you you--you have to help me."

"Mumei, what are you talking about?"

"Don't do this to me, you promised to help me."

Kronii rolled her eyes, "I can't believe I'm falling for your cute act, fine."

She went to the trunk instead as she found a bundle of tarp. Mumei grabbed one end as Kronii grabbed the other. Although her noodle arms weren't much help, Kronii could see how if she wasn't there that the bag would be simply too large for Mumei to grasp around by herself.

They brought it somewhere out into the forest floor, as Mumei began haphazardly throwing dirt on it.

"Holy--Mumei what IS this?!"

Mumei was smiling and digging, ignoring Kronii.

After a while, and out of boredome, Kronii tried to help as well. After about a half hour, both were tired and the tarp was just the bare minimum of covered by dirt.

"O.k., that's good enough," Mumei singed.

Kronii was exhausted, "Are--are you sure? We just got one layer on there."

Mumei tilted her head, "Well~"

"--No! I was joking! Jeez, come on Mumei, this is enough for an act like this, let's just go back already."

"Just one more thing."

"Mumei. I'm exhausted. This is getting ridiculous."

"Just oooonnnne more thing," Mumei went back behind the car, took off the license plate, put it on the burial pile, and proceeded to get a new license plate to put on the back.

"I'm ready now."

Kronii sighed, "You can be a little over-the-top sometimes Mumei."

Before long, they made their way out of the forest and got back on the road. Mumei then finally took off her ski mask and gloves once they were on the road. As the dawn sun rose, Kronii noticed what looked like...dried.

...dried blood.

"Uh, Mumei?"

Mumei chirped, "Hm?"

"Wait, was that, that wasn't a joke of yours? That--that WAS a joke, right?"

"...right?"

"Mumei? Why aren't you answering me Mumei?"
