Player: Egawa Taro

Fresh out of high school, Taro is a factory worker in Yahata Steel Works. He worked part-time as a general laborer moving boxes and equipment while he was in school, but after his grades proved too low to get into a good university he started training in other positions at the factory. Taro would come home exhausted every day and slump down to become a video game vegetable.

Character: Rip Vandernail

Dwarf Rune Forger
Level: 15

Str: 30
Dex: 28
Con: 28
Int: 17
Wis: 25
Cha: 8
Luk: 17
HP: 128
MP: 105

When Taro first built his character, he chose dwarves because he thought they were the cool of the fantasy races, and he wanted working in a steel mill to feel badass. He was disappointed that the server was still in the stone age when he first joined, and he worked hard on leveling up his Mining Practices Profession so that he could unlock Smithing Technology, which he was in the middle of doing when everything went to shit. He wanted to be a ranged fighter with throwing weapons since he's used to first person shooters, but found that his dwarf's ranged accuracy sucked because of their naturally low Dex, making his build sub-optimal. To offset the disadvantage he's been leveling his Dex.

Unspent Skill Points: 0

In the base game, Smart Missile turned out to be mostly useless. Attacks could still miss due to miss chance even if your weapon's hit box hit a target, and you could go pick up your weapons without a problem most of the time due to how telegraphed the enemy attacks were. Only archers benefited from the rune since it would allow them to retrieve special ammunition that was spent and lost otherwise. After becoming trapped in the new world, however, it is proven very useful for early hunting.

Advisors

Alt Tag Konsonmur the Helpful Fox: Status - Disabled
When Taro first started the game, he chose Konsonmur as his advisor, recommended to him because he enjoyed mainly violent and combat-focused games. Taro was at first anxious about the fox, who he thought was a boy, acting so thirsty towards him for picking dwarves. But when she started harping on him for picking the Medic class as a dwarf, he got annoyed and restarted character creation to pick a different advisor. Now self conscious about picking a manlier class, Taro switched to Rune Forger.
Konsonmur is present in the Advisor Room, but since Taro disabled her in his options menu she is unable to talk to him. Being rejected and shut out has made her dejected, like she failed at her job. If ever reactivated, Konsonmur is able to read opponents and offer useful advice during combat.

Alt Tag Peredolia the Rogue Program: Status - Enabled
Recommended due to Taro's interest in/fear towards rogue AI, Peredolia plays the part of the sardonic intellectual. Initially disabled because Taro got spooked by its line deliveries, Peredolia was turned back on after Taro calmed down a little and was assured by other players that the Advisors just play their character roles. Now that the whole world has turned upside down, Taro is once again uncertain what to do about the program, and secretly fears what Peredolia might do if he attempts to turn it off.
For his part, Peredolia enjoys spooking people and using black comedy, but harbors no actual interest in overthrowing humanity. Fulfilling a similar role as the more popular Yulit Advisor, Peredolia possesses extensive knowledge of the game mechanics.
