Common usage coins

These coins are minted by a variety of private companies, including the Black Fleet
The "Jito", also known as the "Deadbeat Doubloon" by foreigners.
35 mm in diameter, 2.5 mm in thickness, 22 karat gold coin. Features a skull on one side, and Mont Mori on the other.
Renowned for the consistency of the quantity and metallurgic composition of the coin. Has corrupting connotations in some cultures.
The "Seasot'"
25 mm in diameter, 2.5 mm in thickness, sterling silver coin. Features a skull on one side, and two spinning scythes on the other.
The "Mattos'"
15 mm in diameter, 2.5 mm in thickness, nickel coin. Features a skull on one side, and four crossed bones on the other.

Bullion coins

The Moricoin
80 mm in diameter, 6 mm in thickness. Made of fused quartz saturated with Mori-type chuubanite. The coin is plated in platinum to contain any Vitium energy leakage or loss and stabilize the chuubanite. Features a skull on one side, and a profile of Mori on the other. Feels cold to the touch. Exclusively minted by the Goddess Faithful on Moriji.

IOU

Black Fleet IOU
Check featuring a Black Fleet officer's signature, the assets requisitioned by said officer, an expiration date, and an encrypted validation code.
While operating far from friendly bases or allies, a Black Fleet captain may opt to re-supply by exchanging a Black Fleet IOU to a trader headed towards Moriji. The IOU may be exchanged at any Black Fleet Bank for a sum sufficient to cover expenses inquired for assisting the officer's mission, plus interest and an incentivizing bonus. Each check is validated through a uniquely encrypted scheme, and the officer who wrote the check is asked to confirm the validity of the transaction upon their return, to minimize fraud.
