Miyo MomoTalk #1
(One day, while working in Schale, I got a message from Miyo.)
Miyo: Sensei, this is Sakurai Miyo.
Miyo: Tomorrow will be my turn for duty at Schale, but…
Miyo: If you see that I’ll be a bother to you, then please excuse me from duty.
Miyo: I’m waiting for your reply.
Miyo: I-I don’t need to worry about it? Understood… Then in that case…
Sensei: No, no! Don't excuse yourself! I'm looking forward to meeting Miyo!!
Miyo: Hyahhh…
(And just like that, Miyo scheduled her work to come at Schale.)
.
(The next day… A guest knocked on my door.)
Sensei: Come in.
(The person went in. It was Miyo.)
Miyo: G-Good morning…
Miyo: Sakurai Miyo, reporting for duty here at Schale.
Sensei: Welcome to Schale, Miyo!
Miyo: N-No, rather, I should be thanking you for calling me here, Sensei.
Miyo: I’m very grateful that I’ve the opportunity to go outside…
Miyo: Fuu… It has been a while since I went outside… I feel truly free…
Sensei: Seems like it's hard to get permission to go outside in Wild Hunt.
Miyo: Yes, especially for students whose major is Literature like mine.
Miyo: To put it bluntly, one could write a novel even in solitary confinement.
Miyo: Now that I think about it, there are quite a few masterpieces that were written while in prison.
Miyo: …Perhaps, I should just confess what I know about the department and be imprisoned as well?
Sensei: So, you're saying that you want a change of pace, right? Then leave it to me!
Miyo: E-Eh? Sensei, what are yo-…?!
.
(After that, I pulled Miyo to a place in Schale.)
Miyo: Is this… Schale’s break room?
Miyo: Eh… With this, am I allowed to write at my own pace?
Miyo: Th-There’s also an all-you-can-eat snack and drink here, too?
Miyo: B-But, I’m on duty today… Are you really fine with me skipping my work?
Miyo: To write is the duty of a novelist?
Miyo: I-It’s true, but…
Sensei: There are a lot of snacks in here, so take your time and focus on your writing.
Miyo: Thank you very much, Sensei.
. .
(With that, I left the break room, leaving Miyo in the break room to help her concentrate.)
(Our day continued like that. I was working on the remaining task, and Miyo was still working on her novel. I decided to check on her a bit, and when I open the break room, I see her happily writing her novel. It seems that she’s enjoying herself here.)
Miyo: Um… Let’s see here… This is the part where the protagonist shows his terminal illness…
Miyo: And doing so, to tear the two of them apart… I'll have the enemy mobilize a tank corps...
Miyo: So, for this line here…
Miyo (enacting): “Oh my sweet prince! Why must fate have to draw us together…?”
Miyo (enacting): “Not to worry my lovely princess! We still have 200 anti-tank rockets yet to fire!”
Miyo: Fufu~ Let’s go with that.
Miyo: Now, for my next scene…
(Miyo suddenly stops as if she realized there’s a person who’s watching her from the start)
Miyo: Sensei!? When did you come here?
Sensei: Well, I brought some sweets that I received earlier as a souvenir…
Miyo: …Did you hear it?
Sensei (lies): Wh-What are you talking about…?
Miyo: You hear it, didn’t you?
Sensei (truth): …Just a little bit…
Miyo: Since when?
Sensei: Since the “terminal illness” part?
Miyo: That’s since the beginning! Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!
(Miyo's cheeks turned red, she quickly left the room and left Schale like the wind…)
.
(Afterward, I received a message from Miyo.)
Miyo: Sorry, Sensei. My duty isn’t over, yet I leave without permission…
Sensei: It’s okay, there are certain times that you just want to get out for a nice change of pace.
Miyo: Thanks for your consideration.
Sensei: So, what happened next? Did the two defeat the tank unit?
Miyo: Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
(Guess that she’s still shy to show everyone her work. Oh well, let’s just wait for her.)
