The Order of the Rose

One of the most famous groups of warriors in /rose/ is the Order of the Rose. Outsiders know them as bandits, thugs, oppressors and killers. But to the RoseButas, they are heroes whose deeds are sung about.

Riding powerful warhorses, wielding a powerful Rose-tipped lance, protected by Rosestone forged steel armor and wearing horned helmets, these Knights have preyed on all of those who are unworthy of the Holy Cross of the Rose. Dragoons, Pomudachi and Schizos alike. They operate out of Castles they have built in the border regions and have made a habit of taking humanoids to be converted into RoseButas in their dungeons with the infamous "Rack of Thorns". Those who refuse to convert are burnt as witches or beheaded and their skulls used as drinking cups.

Their current leader is Grand Master Rogieur de Rochechouart. The current number of Knights is currently 4,000 and growing as many RoseButas seek to join this order as revenge for the oppression of their neighbors and schizos alike. Male children born into the order are trained from birth to become the elite of the order, while the females are sent back to tribes in land. The only men that can be leaders are born into the order.

A Knight is highly trained in the Principles of Rosemi and Martial Arts. They are expected to be expert riders, at lancing, and a swordplay.
