Context
- March 2, 2025: AppDoze has been reinstated in the Megathread. They have pledged to be even more vigilant in the future, and FMHY has removed them from their unsafe list in recognition of their honest efforts.
- February 28, 2025: The AppDoze team contacted r/Piracy to express their sincerity and offer further clarification on the situation. In response, r/Piracy asked them to also reach out to FMHY to address any confusion and request their removal from the unsafe list, and they did.
- Few months ago, a user raised concerns about Malwarebytes, IOBit Driver Booster Pro, and Movavi Video Editor 2025 on Appdoze, citing potential malware in VirusTotal scans and their similarity to releases from FileCR which is widely regarded as unsafe. - AppDoze clarified that they have no affiliation with FileCR, and that they source their cracks directly from scene release groups, which they rigorously test for safety. FMHY raised concerns only about Malwarebytes, stemming from a former AppDoze member who is no longer part of the team.

- February 4, 2025: An individual reported downloading Adobe Premiere Pro from a torrent. Initially, everything appeared normal, but when they tried to download Photoshop, allegedly their trackpad malfunctioned, taskbar disappeared, and some desktop files opened unexpectedly.
- Following that report and a review of all the claims, AppDoze was relocated to the Unsafe Sites section of the Megathread.
