MEDIA 4 WEBOS
This makes use of the BitTorrent protocol, so make sure it's not actively against the law in your country.
• Part 1: INSTALLATION
Get Lampa from the Content Store.
• Part 2: CONFIGURATION
- Open Lampa.
1a. Finish up whatever is on the screen. - Go to the Settings menu.
- Go to the Extensions page.
- Click the big Add Plugin box at the top.
- Type
http://cub.red/plugin/etor
and enter.
If you want TMDB instead of CUB (for English titles and such); in the Extensions page itself, install TMDB Proxy from the Popular section. Then go back to Settings>Other and select TMDB as your main source.
- Finally, restart to take effect.
• Part 3: CONFIGURATION 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
A. Jackett:
- Follow the instructions here.
1a. If on Android, follow this one. - Open the WebUI at
http://127.0.0.1:9117
orlocalhost:9117
, add the trackers you want, make sure to enable External access and Allow CORS.
2a. If you are unsure what to add, I'd recommend an aggregator like Knaben/Torrentz2 etc. - In the tracker settings, change the sorting to
seeders/desc
for ease of use. - Finally, open Lampa, go the Settings>Parser, add
http://192.local.ip.here:9117
as the link (you can get it by usingipconfig
(Windows) orifconfig
for Linux/Termux) and your API key under that (can be found in the Jackett WebUI, try visiting the same link above).
B. Torrserver:
- Follow these instructions.
1a. If on Android, use Torrserve. - Just like Jackett, go to Settings>Torrserver and add
http://192.local.ip.here:8090
as the link.
Remember that you need both of these running everytime you want to watch something. Also, they need to be on the same network your TV is connected to.
• Part 4: TROUBLESHOOTING
- Try restarting TV/Jackett/Torrserver/Lampa.
- Check if your firewall is blocking connections.
- Check if your IP has changed.
- Check if access to the trackers are blocked.
And that's pretty much it, enjoy!
