A plain physiology about their biology and customs.
Classification
The pre-established concept of what is classified as Cybertronian and not is still debated, but for now, the Spark is concisely agreed upon as being the sentient life, not the frame. Xenosciences catalogue them between silicon-plasma beings with high sentience capabilities.
Sparks
The spark is what we would define as a true Cybertronian, containing essential information for frame encoding and transfer, while also holding unique traits that define personality, aspect and behavior. Such encoding is segmented in lattices model, called Adaptive Crystalline Silicon or ACS. Crystalline Silicon represents the building block of the Spark encased coding, generally having semi-conductive properties.
Sparks emerge as a result of several sources spread across the main planet known as Arcane Beacons, shards uniformed from the Allspark. Back then, the production of sparks was centralized which posed a threat in case the ancient relic was kidnapped, which happened so after the war, the Allspark was separated in equal parts and spread across Cybertron to cease their species' extinct.
In the ACS structure, the concept of spark transfer is innate and accustomed, meaning a spark switching frame is normal, despite how rarely it happens.
"First Energon"
The First Energon is conceptually when the spark gets to fuse their energy by consuming pure Energon, sourced from flowers around hotspots. This is essential to ensure the spark temperature is kept low, it provides nutrients for the proteins to stick to the protoform and source of energy.
Spark-Trivia
- Sparks that shared a hotspot with another spark at the same time are called "hotspot brothers". This doesn't make them related.
- Scraplets cannot consume sparks, just their protoform.
- Sparks contain a certain amount of encoded "wellness" and "chaos".
- Dark Energon is quintessential for their development since it allows Crystalline Silicon to solidify.
- Newly-born sparks are the size of a human fist.
- They produce sounds akin to fireworks.
Protoform
Each spark forms a protoform within the hotspot, shaped by "protomatter", a compound with Newtonian properties at first. It cools down as the upper ASC bonds break and send proteins that coagulate the desired body shaped. The mix of coagulated proteins is random every single time. Basic shapes become and evolve over time, sizing barely a few meters in protoform, then building frame and the case.
Reproduction
They are asexual by nature. That's why sex and gender are not defined nor innate things they engage into. Sparks emerge from Arcane Beacons or the Allspark and come back after their death.
Physiology
Brain Module
Their brain module is computationally faster but logically it's layered poorly compared to the human brain. Humanly operate on a more logical pathways by picking cues instead of machinal algorithms.
Finials
The finials of most transformers are sensitive, like cat whiskers, and help a transformer navigate shady environments using spacial awareness.
