wenclair omegaverse is REAL! spread the truth. i honestly never thought this day would come, and i’m so glad it finally did. at first, when wednesday transformed in enid’s body, i assumed it was just enid’s usual werewolf form. but now, after finishing the season and looking back, i realized it was actually wednesday’s own form. i compared the two and noticed the differences—enid’s werewolf form has a more brownish tone, the signature pink and blue streaks in her hair, plus eyeshadow, while wednesday’s form was pitch-black with brown eyes. it’s such a cool detail, and i’m so happy about it. i really hope more artists start drawing them together in their wolf forms. i can’t even put into words how amazed and happy i am right now. the ao3 prophecies actually came true.

at the end of season 2, wednesday chose not to return home and instead set out to find enid, who’s currently stuck in her alpha werewolf form. based on what i know about werewolf lore, i’m pretty sure enid will eventually transform back. i remember hearing that alpha werewolves can revert once they reunite with the person they love. i can’t recall the exact source, but it was something along those lines.

my wenclair werewolf headcanons: if wednesday were a werewolf, i feel like she’d naturally be an alpha. part of me wonders if she could also be an omega, but her bravery, cynicism, and overall personality really point toward alpha energy. honestly, i think both enid and wednesday would end up being alphas together. and depending on the lore, alphas can mate in some versions.

werewolf wednesday headcanons (because i love her so much):

• unlike most werewolves, her transformation is nearly silent and controlled, no dramatic screaming, no messy tearing clothes. she shifts like it’s second nature, as if she’s done it a thousand times.
• her wolf form doesn’t burst out violently. instead, it’s almost eerie, her bones shift with minimal noise, her skin darkens like ink spreading, and suddenly she’s on all fours. enid says it’s “creepy cool,” wednesday calls it “efficient.”
• a little smaller than the average alpha but scarier because of her eyes (piercing brown that almost glow).
• her howl is chillingly low and quiet, not loud more like a growl that unsettles anyone who hears it.
• she refuses to hunt with others, preferring to stalk prey alone in the dark. her style is calculated, almost predatory, like she’s studying every move.
• wednesday would never admit it, but in her wolf form she instinctively circles enid protectively, keeping other wolves at a distance.
• as an alpha, she has a natural aura that makes even older wolves uneasy like they can sense her dominance without her doing anything.
• she has little rituals: sharpening her claws on stone, leaving faint scratches on trees like “signatures,” or sitting in the same silent spot under the moon for hours.
• in wolf lore, scent is important. wednesday’s wolf scent would be cold rain, burnt cedar, and a metallic sharpness. enid always describes it as “intimidating but… addictive.”
• wednesday can partially transform (just her claws or eyes). she uses this to intimidate others in her human form.
• she hates to admit it, but she becomes very territorial. if someone lingers too close to enid, her wolf instincts push her to step in front of her.

• when they’re both in wolf form, enid’s playfulness forces wednesday to loosen up, wednesday growls and pretends to hate it, but she’ll still run after her every single time.
• if they ever fought side by side, they’d have perfect synergy: enid is speed and chaos, wednesday is precision and intimidation.
• their howls together would echo as a mix of brightness and dread, almost symbolic of their bond.
• enid tries to get wednesday to play fetch in wolf form. wednesday growls, refuses… but once (only once), she actually brought the stick back. enid never lets her live it down.
• when they run together in the forest, wednesday always takes the lead, but enid can catch up if she wants. wednesday secretly slows down so enid isn’t left behind.
• in wolf form, wednesday curls around enid while they sleep not because she needs to, but because instinctually, she wants to guard her.
• they race through the forest together: enid is fast, agile, playful; wednesday is calculated, precise, and always wins… except she lets enid cross the finish line first sometimes.
• enid leaves little gifts for wednesday in wolf form: shiny rocks, sticks shaped like bones, even flowers. wednesday pretends she doesn’t notice but carefully places them in a “safe spot” for later.

my 'two alphas mating' interpretations: in a lot of fanon and some werewolf myth takes, alphas mating is considered rare but very powerful. it’s like two forces clashing but also creating balance, so their bond is often seen as unbreakable. sometimes it’s written as forbidden or taboo because alphas are expected to lead separate packs, not merge together which makes it extra intense if they do. other times, the lore says two alphas together form a dual-pack leadership, where they’re equally dominant and their bond stabilizes the pack even more strongly. in some omegaverse variations, people interpret alpha + alpha bonds as having this constant push-and-pull of dominance, which can either turn into rivalry or evolve into insane amounts of chemistry and tension. they might not produce “traditional heirs” the way alpha+omega bonds are imagined to, but the pairing is still viewed as strong, valid, and often legendary. for wenclair specifically: wednesday as the dark, calculated alpha & enid as the bright, empathetic alpha. together they’d create this yin-yang leadership dynamic, with both sides of the spectrum covered.
