ship discourse because i hate being hidden bc i like one thing

i PERFECTLY acknowledge that alastor is aroace. he will always be implied to be aroace in canon. this does not mean i can't ship radioapple, however, for fun. i fully acknowledge this ship is not canon. i don't want to erase the representation shown in the show.

this goes for ANY ship including alastor that i might show. i perfectly acknowledge that he is aroace.

as for lucifer, i AM him. being a fictionkin, however, does not excuse my taste in ships. i am only uncomfy with lucilith because i am mainly identify as mlm. i view them as exes turned friends. i only ship mlm ships because i enjoy seeing my own sexuality in characters i can actually relate to. that does NOT mean that i believe that lucifer is canonically a strict mlm. far from that. you do you, and if you disagree with me, you disagree. i can't believe i have to say this, but i don't want the wrong interpretations of the person i am SOLELY because i ship this one thing that is not canon.

misty sparkle's video on alastor fleshes out my views VERY well.

anyway !! tl;dr is that i ship things that i know aren't canon and will never be canon lol
