Existence and the Council

There was a time where all existence was but a mere blank canvas, the only existences on them were the Impulse of Life, the Impulse of Death and The Void. Until The Clock began to exist, a tick tock sound coming from a circle of light with three light rays coming from it, which moved around it in a fixed cadence. This event make the development of everything we know –and not know– happen: history begun.

While maybe it was always there —or maybe not— The Clock bought conscience to Sana, a little girl ruining around this nothingness, who began playing with the prima materia left by the fight of other goddesses: with it she made stars and planets, creating what we know as space. She liked to order them in a particular way, she chose a star, put it over her head, and started spinning until it acquired movement for itself. She did the same with planets and other space elements and order them in groups.

But Sana felt alone: Life, Death and Void were beyond her and playing alone was fun but she was eager for someone else to enjoy what she made. And The only other thing there was The Clock, which in part inspired how the stars were made. So she went to where it stayed, looked straight to it and said:

'I know you are like us, why don't you talk and play with me?,' inquired Sana to the entity. But the sound didn't stop and kept going to its fixed rhythm.

Stubborn the Goddess of Space sat down in her knees and kept watching it with her hands in her chin, waiting for some response. None. And eventually she felt asleep in front of it.

Then she was awaken by another little girl unknown to her, who spoke in a soft voice and had a light green tone.

'I'm Fauna and I'm new here, I think you made me exist while playing with the prime materia. Or maybe not.' the girl said, laughing at the end of the sentences with playful 'u' sound.

A friend to play Sana suddenly had! What a thrill she felt! And then both started playing with Sana's creations, with the green goddess wanting to fill them with colors and smells, always in the same obsessively coordinated fashion the other did. The little girl god entities played for so long that they began creating bigger celestial bodies, planets, groups of them that worked together, and then filling them with life. But once they became tired, they went to where the tick tock came from and watched The Clock with uttermost attention again. After all, the orderly way they made their creation had some inspiration on regular cadence of The Clock.

'When do you think it will say another thing or become like us?' asked Fauna.

'I don't know, I've waited so long for her to be able to play with us.'

And they looked over it, talking about how much fun would be if The Clock gained sentience like them. Eventually, both felt asleep.

Big explosions woke them up, a new girl was making a mess around, taking their toys a mixing them, breaking and joining them in new ways.

'What are you doing?,' asked Sana, while Fauna hide behind her.

'I'm making boom boom, I'm Chaos, but you can call me Baelz, nice to meet you,' answered the colorful little goddess.

'But why do you do this, everything was so tidy and perfect, why you ruined it?', Fauna asked, still hiding.

'I didn't ruin anything, you silly. I'm creating new things! Your toys look nice and perfect but they are all alike! That's why you keep getting bored of them!', said Baelz.

The three children goddesses discussed for a while but eventually started to play together and all new things were born from them. They made things collide and create new random things, they mixed and matched with caring to repeat the same model. They played and played until suddenly they found that The Clock wasn't where it always used to be. Worried, they searched for it all over the universe until they found it floating over the hands of a new child who was sitting on our planet, no thoughs, head empty, intensely watching The Clock.

'Who are you and how you did that? We have tried to move it for who knows how long!' asked Baelz.

'Oh, hi!,' she said after coming back to her senses. 'I'm Mumei and I'm here for some reason. It's my duty to make this ones –she stood up and pointed to /vtwbg/, specifically the newborn civilizations on it– flourish like your plants, grown big like your stars, and also go boom boom sometimes like you like.'

They other children goddesses forgot about asking again who she did that feature, happy to have a new friend.

'That is cute!,' said Sana.

'They were part of my toys so it's fine as long as they play fair. Nice to meet you.' said Fauna.

'New friend also likes boom boom!' said Baelz and hugged her with all her force.

But after the pleasantries they all circled Mumei, who sit down again on our planet. She talked to the Clock.

'It's your time to be like us, the people over here need to transcend, and a form like us might be useful, you know? So awake,' she said such provocative words in the most endearing way.

Then a 'hello' is heard from behind her. The goddess Kronii, in child form like the others, was standing there. And after a pause, when all the goddesses turned around and faced her, she said:

'This is my new body. I didn't think I needed a new one, I though I could inspire everyone with that perfect body you have in your hands and that a sentient me could ruin it', she said in a shy way.

They all went to hug the Warden of Time, who blushed.

'You will be perfect in any shape you take. For us. For everyone.'

Then all of them began to play together and keep the universe growing.

That's how The Council began.

They would, eventually develop a personal love for the planet where they got together.

They took care of it from afar, until someday they decided, each one at a time and for different reasons, to present themselves to the mortals in /vtwbg/. But those are stories to be told elsewhere.

But what about The Clock? Kronii was infatuated with her previous body so she took it and transform it into the form that would inspire our hand clocks, but instead of machinery inside, it functioned with the rest of the magic left in it. This magic clock would become famous one day, when in other hands it ended. But that is also a story for another time.
