iOS Sideloading Guide

Hey guys! I love sideloading and all things that are a "fuck you" to apple, so here's my official guide on sideloading your iPhone/iPad!
If you guys want, I can make a free guide. Just know that any future tutorials for anything to do with iOS will likely require an official signing cert, not an enterprise cert.

• This guide is purely for educational purposes
• I do not provide resources to anyone wishing to illegally abuse peer to peer file sharing protocols.
• I do not host any files on this site and my sites. I simply provide links and steps to recreate these files in a safe environment.
• I am not responsible for anything that may or may not happen to your devices during this guide.
• Alot of these were found from other people's guides, this is mainly for re-sharing purposes.
• I have over 4 years of experience with sideloading, do not take this as a blind trust for anything I tell you.

Pre-Requisites:

• Please have Mullvad DNS adblock on your iPhone.
• A stable internet connection
• $3 to your name
• A bit of time and patience.
• Discord

Step 1, Getting a Cert

A signing certificate is something that app devs use to allow custom apps to be installed on their iDevice.
Apple charges $100 USD a year for 1 of these. However, many companies buy apple dev certificates and split them up, providing them to people like you and I.
There are many places to buy certs from, but not all certs are equal.

Here are a few for you to choose from:

• ⭐⭐ RustSign | Newer, trusted again from what I've seen, $10 best plan. Good revoke/warranty.
• ⭐ ArcticSign | New in the game, decently trusted. Go with Prime+ plan, $12.99
• FlareStore | New, mentioned a few times around r/sideloaded, $3-15 (Go with the 15 dollar to get JIT support.)
• SwiftSign | Newish, trusted from what I've seen, $13.99 (best plan)
• AppleP12 | Been around forever, mixed reviews, $26

Absolutely avoid:

• DXSign
• KravaSign
• Muasign
• AppTesters Lifetime Slop
• Signulous

Once you decide on the signing service you'd like to go with, purchase your cert on their website. You may have to claim it using discord.
Once you have the certificate files on your phone (.zip containing a .p12 & a .mobileprovision), continue.

Step 2, Installing Feather

Feather will act as a secondary appstore for your phone to sideload apps that aren't officially available by apple. You need a distribution or development cert to sideload this.

1. Download Feather.ipa latest release from the releases page (this link will always lead to the latest release)
2. Open files, and ensure that your certificate is fully unzipped and accessible.
3. Open safari and navigate to this website
4. Upload your feather.ipa, cert.p12, and cert.mobileprovision (enter the certificate password if applicable.)
5. Click sign ipa and let feather install.

Step 3, Configuring Feather (App repos & Cert setup)

Settings:

1. Open Feather. Head to settings.
2. Select certificates > Import > then repeat the steps for your .p12 and .mobileprovision. Your cert should now be added.
   You can repeat this with as many certs as you want, as well as a dev cert if you want JIT.
3. Go to base settings > signing options
4. Change:
   • Enable ppq protection
   • Enable install after signing
5. Go back to base settings > Install settings
6. Change server type to semi local, toggle only use localhost.
   Adding repos:
7. Go to this website and add the shortcut.
8. Run the shortcut. Allow all permissions, and select the add repos option. Select feather.
9. You can also get .ipa files to sign from fmhy's sources: https://fmhy.net/mobile#ios-ipas
   also, manually add https://qx4.dev/repo.json for some extra apps i like.

Step 4, Installing apps:

We'll be using HDFlix (NoAds) for this tutorial. Basically a Cineby app port.

1. Find your desired app. For this I am using hdflix from qx4's repo.
2. Click 'get'. Go to Library.
3. Click 'sign'. 'Start signing'
4. It should begin installing after the signing. If not, hold down on the app and click install.
5. It should ask about iTunes, then to install from api.palera1n.com, follow all prompts and your app should be installed!
   You can use this for any .IPA files in your files app by clicking the + on the library tab of feather. You can use any app this way, although not all app cracks still work. Happy sideloading!
