Basic Timeline of the events of leading up to, during and right after the War of Tapinosis
1091 VTE:
The provinces of Lumi (Loumikon) and Yuri( Amareis) cede from cyberlive (Empire of Aylakkayoli) to the Phase Connect (Empire of Syndeoneia)
1092 to 1095 VTE:
Emperor Philippos III uses the instability of Aylakkayoli to use his claim to the throne and with his army takes the entirety of Aylakkayoli for himself by 1095.
1096 VTE:
Philippos, having the armies of both Empires under his command invades 774 and Voms. He overruns Voms rather easily but runs into problems in 774.
January 1st 1097 VTE:
The Night of the Antiocheian Vespers. Philippos, seeing the Mononobe Shogunate send aid to voms and other nations orders all citizens from the Shogunate murdered across the realm. 20,000 are murdered over the next 2 weeks across the Empires.
June 2nd, 1097 VTE:
the Shogunate heard about this a month and a half later. They prepare a large fleet and a mercenary army for a counter strike. Led by whomever 2434 wants, this force appears off of the Island of Antipatros on June 2nd and crushes the small fleet stationed there and take the Tsoumala peninsula, a small peninsula off of Kallipolis. Kallipolis is firebombed soon after
Rest of 1097 VTE:
2434 digs in, fortifies their possessions and begins to turn the island and peninsula into fortresses and supply depots. More coastal cities are raided or bombed in some forms. Philippos, stretching on all fronts, is forced to raise levies to retake the Peninsula and gathers the Northern fleet at Antioch and the Southern Fleet at Tyraion
1098 VTE:
Guerrilla war starts in Voms and the struggle in 774 continues. Philippos sends both of his fleets towards Antipatreia, resulting in a battle where the outdated phase fleets with hundreds of Dromons being completely obliterated by the modern 2434 fleet sometime in early summer. 2434 uses this to start causing chaos, and bombard Antioch in October, destroying the harbor and the forts and starting a fire. The Phase Levies are defeated by the Mercenaries as they gather at Kallipolis and Kallipolis falls to 2434
Early 1099 VTE:
Philippos, unwilling to admit defeat, raises more men and doesn’t recall armies yet from voms and 774. Trade is effectively cut off and 2434 starts a popular uprising in the former /clg/ lands under a noble form (Emma or the other one I forgot about) that quickly takes hold. Another Phase fleet is destroyed.
Mid to Late 1099 VTE:
Philippos pulls out of Voms and 774 to fight 2434. The commander of the Army in 774, Georgios Synadenos declared himself Emperor with the support of the Army as does the Commander of the Voms army, Andronikos Doukas. Philippos meets the army of Synadenos outside of Mylasa, and is killed and defeated. Georgios crowns himself as Georgios II. The revolt in cyberlive, calling itself Aetheria, takes much land and 2434 continues to cause problems, landing and taking the cities of Zykanthos, Chandax and Kassandreia. The Voms army arrives in late November.
1100 VTE:
Georgios is defeated by the Doukas near Thera in January and is forced to retreat before being defeated again and captured at Hieropolis in February. Andronikos is crowned Andronikos I in Antioch in March. 2434 Takes more coastal cities, including Philippeia in August. In Philippeia, the invaders declare their own pretender, Ioannes V Euphorbenos. A Great battle near the city erupts and the army of 2434 triumphs and Andronikos is driven back to Antioch. Yet another pretender arises in Nephilion named Theophilos Katakalon also in August. In a coup de main, Ioannes takes the city as the gates are thrown open to him. He is officially crowned Emperor on December 4th and begins negotiations with 2434.Aetheria is unable to take back Luminikon and Amareis after taking the rest of the nation.
March 21st, 1101 VTE: At the Westphasian Palace, the Treaty of Westphasia is signed between Syndeoneia, Aetheria, Voms, 774, and 2434.
June 27th, 1011 VTE: Katakalon is defeated by the Mercenary army outside of Thebae on June 22nd and Theophilos flees to Vshojo.
