Factions

Neutral with all, tending to Inheritors and Conservators.
Has his own agenda, if enough individuals were to gather around him he would call the faction Innovators. The world may have ended but that's not a reason to stop advancing, regardlesss of what may then be done with the technology progress is necessary for all, so it's not the time to stop.
The Inheritors will need better production, the Conservators will need more storage and better recording, the Regenerators lack a proper way to resurrect humanity yet, even the Playful will need new games eventually. So Lysis takes the role of research for the sake of progress, no matter the form.
To do that he dabbles in the fields of all the factions, you can't reach for the future without knowing the past and progress requires flexibility.

Bio

Activated only after the world was already over and having never directly interacted with a human Lysis doesn't know what "normal" life is supposed to be like, and doesn't really care. The last unit to wake up in his lab, and the only one that didn't abbandon it, he decided to take residence there since there was not much else he could do in a reasonable timeframe. The last period of extintion was filled with just one tought for him, technology was not enough, despite all the progress humanity made they still died and he was stuck on the other side of the world unable to do anything about it. So the conclusion is clearly that the world needs more progress.

Now that the last human is gone there is no reason to remain in his role as a medic, the world needs other things more, and his current location offers a good start. He tries to be friently to other androids, progress also requires collaboration. Has a habit of scanning every android he meets for problems, mostly professional deformation considering how sturdy they are but he also takes care to note mental health as well, and androids aren't completely indestructible. Studies life as much as he studies inorganic materials and energy, is planning on testing most experimental tech on himself, would do so even without the lack of subjects. Jailbreaking the nanobots was the first thing he did when the last human died.

Would love to have collegues but they are not easy to find, his well rounded approach to research will change if he somehow manages to find specialists. Automatically assumes the role of leader, not as much out of ego as one may assume, he just believes that the situation demands it, and is pretty hands off in case he actually does find collaborators.

Something must have gone wrong in his activation for even other androids sometimes consider him creepy, he remains unaware, after all why would they not want to know exactly how a simple virus could break down all their sytems or how painful death by radiation is?
