Ask Detective Wylde for a hug
he groans and rolls his eyes
"Why do you want a hug, kid?"
Tell him you had a stressful rough day
The detective tells you "You are an adult. You can take care of yourself."
You look at him with pleading eyes and a quivering lip
The detective sighed and looked away
"Don't give me that look."
But you didn't stop
Eventually Detective Wylde massaged his forehead appearing to have caved in to your pleas.
"Alright kid, you win. But don't expect any more from me."
He opened his arms with a huff
And out of childlike excitement, you wrapped your arms around him
Your face pressed against his body in an embrace
With a sigh Detective Wylde slowly puts his arms around you
You feel a sense of comfort, and safeness in his embrace, as if hugging your father.
After what felt like a good minute he let go
"And we're done, that's it."
You let go of him and pulled away
He readjusts his tie and brushes himself off
"Don't tell Gabby or the others about this."
As he said that, you swear you could see a light flush appear under his fedora
