destroy the general? it's very simple, actually. ia faggot is a hypocrite. he pretends to create something of value that seems like it's interesting on the surface when everything he does is just outright malicious. he employs methods that look like they've been taken straight from /x/ or /pol/ schizo conspiracy theories. he wants to hijack the general, to troll, or even to see it completely dead. he never admits that, rather, he denies that, just so you know. a cretin with too much time on his hands, as usual.

as far as i am aware, highlighter faggot has been active on /h/hdg/ for a very long time, before nai v3 release, and apparently he was very active on /e/edg/, but he mostly stopped replying to anything between noobai and anima releases. when he posted, sometimes he attached an extremely fried and broken picture of ia, that's where his nickname is from. as you might have guessed already, this is a perspective of someone who didn't frequent /e/.

the deeds highlightfaggot commits regularly, each thread, to this day:

• selects generic aislop style for his highlights, trying to attract attention seeking faggots of various kinds to make them flood the threads with slop on their own.
• he watches the thread in order to hijack it, very likely has some alarm scripts set up that go off to make sure he gets to make threads early, making sure nobody can create a thread besides him
• makes split threads at any opportunity if someone beats him to the punch
  when someone other than himself bakes the thread, iafaggot does not post in it, creates new one, reports the old one, posts highlights in his own thread as well as some of older gens made by other anons (he also used to post his own gens in the past) to make sure the thread looks legitimate and there's more activity in it, and some of the attention whores actually follow him and refuse to post until the thread is blessed by highlightfaggot
• he is likely falseflagging by creating split threads without highlights but with a blacked or shit op in an attempt to make his own threads look more appealing and legitimate, and also to frame anyone who attempts to bake a thread as blacked spammer, spreding fud
• doesn't listen to anything or anyone, nor does he meaningfully participate in the threads anymore
• does not update the op template at all unless he risks making his threads completely irrelevant

highlightfaggot's achievements:

• he is one of the reasons a huge /hgg/ split appeared on /h/
• /h/hgg is ded
• /h/hdg is an unded
• textposting only is completely normalized
• posting tasteless, meaningless, and effortless slop is completely normalized (especially on /e/)
• decimal thread count bullshit on /h/hdg/ which hopefully ended with thread #784, thread count is a meaningless number now
• he made this rentry possible
• other things i already forgot and that are no longer relevant

do not fall for any of the red herrings, such as:
