"Stephanie, bring up that list of assets."
"Right away, sir."

In his cluttered office, Geoff was handed a tablet by one of his assistants. On the tablet he personally designed, he brought up a list that contained "People of Interest", those who Geoff had heard of but not particularly seen. Stephanie held a tablet of her own, and awaited notes.

Devourer of Blood

"Meh. Pretty much worthless. There's meatheads everywhere, what seperates her from the rest? Label her under 'Meatheads'. Keep her high up on the list, of course. No reason to not pay her to take care of something if we need her to, and I hear she works for cheap."
"Yes, sir."

Cyrus

"Wow, another meathead. I hear that those Wyrms seem to hate him. Working with him may be a detriment to our cause... Stephanie? Label him under 'Do Not Contact'. Wait... maybe a Wyrm gentleman we need in our good graces will put a hit on him... Label him under 'Target'. Let's keep tabs on him if it's not a hassle."
"Yes, sir."

Byelana

"Shaman who can revive the dead, eh? Heard it's far too hard to find her. No reason to bother looking. ...Ah, someone may need her at some point. Same with that Cyrus fellow, label her under 'Target'. Oh, and Stephanie?"
"Yes, sir?"
"Organize a meeting for Sunday at 5:00. I'd like to discuss a 'Possible Target' or 'Future Target' label we may want to have assets under."
"Right away, sir."

Ferdinando

"Ugh. No more than a savage bandit. We should put out a word to keep people from traveling through his territority. If an asset I need to speak with dies in there, that would be a lot of hassle. ...We need to discuss him at a later time. Organize a meeting for Tuesday at 3:00. Label him 'Do Not Contact'."
"Right away, sir. Yes, sir."

En

"That's the guy they say is a Corpse Lord, right? I think I've heard of him. Heard about his luck, too. Yeah, nothing good can come from him. Epsecially since he's a Corpse Lord. Label him 'Do Not Contact'."
"Yes, sir."

That Faceless Gentlemen

"Oh, he's that info broker, right? It seems like we could strike up a deal. And he does take cash?"
"Yes, sir. I have confirmed that with a reliable source, like you asked."
"Fantastic! Seems like a swell guy. Label him under 'Business Partner'. Maybe we'll request his services later."
"Of course, sir."

Alistair

"...She's one of those Omens from Dusk Mist, yeah? Hm, knowledge of the Debirus... seems useful, I suppose I'll have to meet with them. Not sure why you have her in particular listed. Did you make this list Stephanie?
"No, sir."
"Hm, alright. Get me in contact with whoever did, I have to ask why she was listed out of all of the Dusk Mist Omens. Where was I... ah, I wonder if we could sponsor them? We could use the influence. I hope an advertisement is cheap enough. Label the Dusk Mist under 'Business Partner'."
"Yes, sir."

Lance

"A detective... I could actually use one of those. Yes, we could most definitely hire him! Get him to find some artifacts, or maybe track the location of a dead guy, or maybe get him to find some guy who skipped out on paying us what we're due? Yes, it would be a great idea to get in his good graces! Label him 'Business Partner'. I'd like him and his company to be in touch."
"Yes, sir."

Sa'ad

"Risky, risky, risky... he's very wealthy, and yet very much wanted. And he wishes to hire engineers... I suppose the question isn't what we could do for him, but what he could do for us? I don't exactly want the attention of those who want him dead... and he isn't exactly in the position to give us anything that isn't cash... but who am I to pass up the gamble of a lifetime? He might be a powerful asset in the future! Alright; Stephanie, he's going under 'Business Partner'. I want to meet with him as soon as I can."
"Yes, sir."

Arthur

"Dollmaker, huh? But what's more... he's going to die soon... I have an idea! We get him to work with us, and inherit his company after he dies! Then, we liquidate the company! Yes, this is genius! We have no use for dolls that might just hurt our reputation, but we have use for cash! Perhaps we could help in the ventures of him and his company, and we can always use his aid ourselves. He's going under 'Business Partner'. Same as Sa'ad, I want to meet him when I can."
"Yes, sir."

Dryad

"Ah, a botanical expert! We absolutely need one of those. How is a Moon Colony supposed to grow its food? Yes, a partnership with her would be wonderful! Alright, she's going straight under 'Business Partner'! We have nothing to lose, and everything to gain by working with her! I'd like to meet with her when I can, but she seems to be in no issue, so the priority isn't sky-high."
"Of course, sir."

Alexandra

"Ah, this is why Alistair was listed! Someone wants me to know about their family drama! Great. That must've been Steven. Stephanie, I'd like to see Steven later. He's being ridiculous, and I need to tell him that personally."
"Of course, sir. As for the asset?"
"Ah, she's a hopeful musician? And she's in terrible debt... Alright, I can work with that. I suppose financing her in exchange for sponsoring us could be a worthy endeavor. 'Business Partner'."

Alicia

"Again, some random member of an important organization? Ugh. Why is Steven like this? Anyway, she's a meathead. Label her 'Meathead'. Seems to be in debt, so she might work for cheap."
"Yes, sir."
"As for her guild... are they seriously broke? Hah! Guess I can get their services without much hassle! Yes, the Adventurer's Guild under me would be nice. Spread the name of Bagoscorp, muscle cheaper than hiring meatheads... I think the Adventurer's Guild would be a good asset. 'Business Partner'."
"Yes, sir."

Livya

"Ah, a genius! And an Adventurer's Guild member... If I can't acquire the Guild, I should strive to hire her directly. What to label her as...? Hm, 'Business Partner', not 'Asset'. Establishing a Moon Colony should entice her, as it does all geniuses!"
"Yes, sir. I agree, sir."

Morrigan

"Another destitute meathead. Alright, then. Should be able to get her services if we need them for cheap. I don't think hiring a Cockatrice would be that bad for our reputation... It probably isn't risky. I doubt we'd have to hire her, but we could if she was in the area we are working in, I suppose. She's under 'Meatheads'."
"Of course, sir."
