Tournament Match: Kichōna vs Vix (First Draft)

The preliminaries were over. Kichōna had made it to the tournament after winning her first fight, and according to the seed, she would have many more to go. Roughly five. Assuming she won, anyway.

In the room the participants would stay in just before battle, it was occupied by Kichōna, her father, and her teammate Shimabukuro. Her other teammate Nodao hasn't talked to her... at all, since her victory against her, but Kichōna didn't mind. She just assumed she was really good at the silent game.

"...Vix, huh? Strange name. Stranger abilities. Swordsman, and with an unusual Kekkei Genkai... intriguing. Kichōna, make sure you-"

Kichōna heard not a word from her father. She was staring at some funny, swirly pattern on the wall. Shame on whoever put that there. Likely a test from the Anbu... The oddly hypnotic pattern would distract even the finest warriors.

"-your Clay will be able to reconnect, so-"

And if someone was a mouthbreather, they'd be hard pressed to look away from it at all!

"-remember that you can create notches and-"

But since Kichōna wasn't a mouthbreather (she can breathe from anywhere, actually) she had enough willpower to ignore its hypnotic pull.

"What's Uncle Shima doing?"

She turned to find the Great Butterfly Sage (full title) contemplating a butterfly sitting on his hand. Or maybe he was contemplating WITH the butterfly? He can do that.

"Kichōna, did you get all that?"
"Haha, of course, Papa! I always pay attention!"
"Great! You should be fine, then. Be sure to show off as much as you like. Just... keep things a little more in check."
"Uh-huh!"

Osamu was a tad bit worried about his daughter. She was a bit off, especially in her last fight with Nodao. He didn't hear all of it, and Kichōna was really vague with him afterwards, but she really did seem like she was trying to kill her teammate. Not to mention, what he heard about what happened to her in the Forest over the month from Shimabukuro. His blood boiled thinking about it, but he only almost lost his cool. He broke whatever he had in his hands the last time he thought about it (yesterday), but this time he kept his head.

"That rat bastard piece of shit deserves double cancer. I hope he asks me for treatment so I can leak his medical information after fucking it up."

He didn't exactly hear what the kind gentleman and his lovely daughter chatted about since Kichōna kept it really vague, but he assumed it was some meaningless dribble about testing the new generation. He had a small epiphany.

"She STILL somehow has that tyrant as one of her rolemodels, so she's probably helping him with his 'testing' or something. Hmmm... yes, I suppose she didn't do anything to Nodao that would actually kill her, she wouldn't do that... so letting her fight is fine, after all."

Osamu was caught up in musing to himself about events he hadn't previously theorized the motive about (very distracted by blistering rage, let it out during some recent autopsies). So caught up, that he didn't even notice his daughter had started a new conversation.

"Uncle Shima, make sure you watch my fight closely! It should help you in your upcoming ones! Ooh, and report it to Nodao! 'Cause she's still in the hospital, and she can't watch. Oh, do you know when she'll be out?"

Shimabukuro was startled by the sudden conversation, but he caught himself and answered swiftly.

"Yes, I'll be watching every move. And Nodao... she should be out soon, if I remember your father correctly. Her organs have almost fully recovered, including her poor head."
"...Her head? I don't remember hitting her in the head very hard."
"When you shocked her, Kichōna."
"OH, that would do something to her head. Does the silent game help with your head getting zapped?"
"I-I do not know. But perhaps it does?"
"That makes sense! Half an ounce of maybe is worth a half a pound of definitely but only when it works."
"...Come again?"

Osamu overheard at least a part of the conversation, and stopped scribbling in the notepad he was devoting himself to while waiting for his 'students' to finish.

"Yes, Kichōna, she'll be fine! No need to worry about her. She should be fully recovered in a couple days. I did some of my best work, after all."
"Yay!"

Without missing a beat, an Anbu walked in.

"'Kichōna', right? Your turn."
"Woo, about time!"

Kichōna followed the Anbu, while turning to wave goodbye to 1/2 of Team 2.

Osamu and Shimabukuro exchanged glances, before heading to their seats. Osamu smiled, and with confidence.

"She'll be fine."

A significant crowd lined the rows of the Chūnin Exam Stadium. Kichōna quickly skimmed the faces, and made out a few of them.
All of her friends!
And a ton of other people she hadn't befriended yet. And she think she might've saw Kiko closer to the front.

The arena looked a little... worn. Kichōna's attention was immediately (well, more like secondly or thirdly) brought to the blue cloaked teenager standing stoically on the opposing side.

"Don't think I've ever seen you around here before...? Do you have a name?"

He tilted his head and moved his hands slightly.

"...Vix Raiu."
"That's a pretty weird name. I'm Kichōna! Let's be friends!"
"...The battlefield is no place for friends."
"But this isn't a battlefield?"
"Tch."

Vix sighed.
He wanted a fight with his brother.
He was getting a fight with a nincompoop.
He turned to the Anbu ref.

"OLD MAN! When do we begin?"
"On my mark."

The Anbu raised his hand.

"Get set."

Vix gave a glare at his opponent. Something seemed... off, about her. He had heard about a fighter with a puppet-like body, but even that didn't quite place what was off about her. With the Yamato, Vix could tell that his opponent seemed to have a bizarre anatomy.
He sighed.

"Better try and keep things in check. Don't want to slice this idiot open..."

Kichōna tilted her head, and spoke quietly.

"...Wait, maybe this is a battlefield?"

The Anbu made the Seal of Confrontation.

"GO!"

And as the masked man fled in a blur, Vix unsheathed his sword.
Not even a second passed; the sword was returned to its sheathe almost as swiftly as it left.

"There. It's over. With sliced heel cords, she should be unable to continue, and can't embarrass herself even further."

The crowd watched. They saw a slight whirlwind of chakra around the friendly girl's legs, and no reaction.

Kichōna just looked down at her legs, and turned her body to examine them.

"Oh, cool! I was gonna try cutting those at some point! Great minds think just alike, right?"
"...Hm?"

Vix was puzzled.

"Did I not just cut those...? Why is she still standing? Did I miss?"

Kichōna smiled at her opponent, and put her arms behind her back, like some sort of innocent act.

"Me next!"

And just as suddenly, a burst of flame obscured her location from Vix's vision.
In response, Vix took a defensive stance, and several spectral swords appeared over his back.
The swords soared past his shoulders, skewered the blaze, and the flames shortly flickered out.

No one was there.

Vix remained in his stance, and watched his surroundings.

"Invisibility? An illusion? ...Perhaps this is going to be more difficult than I thought."

Both Vix and the audience waited with baited breath; and then Vix felt movement underneath his feet.

"UNDERGRO-!?"
"SURPRISE!"

A burning, orange spike stabbed at Vix from the ground; a face partially emerged.
His opponent had taken the road less traveled.

Vix stepped back, surprised but able to react, and blocked the spike.
He examined it closely as it clashed against his sword, and saw that the mostly solid spike softly recoiled directly into its wielder's arm. It was molten, with the tip remaining hard.
Disengaging, Vix stepped back a small distance to look for an opening; his opponent took advantage of this, and placed her free hand with a small speaker in the center on the ground towards him.
A wave of sound pulsed through, and the shockwave caused Vix to evade into the air for his next attack.

"More tricks than I thought!"

Still in mid-air, Vix summoned spectral projectiles, and once again skewered the location of his opponent.
They merely sunk into the ground around her, and Kichōna responded by facing her extending spike towards her opponent; launched like a bolt, it splattered on Vix's sword.
The spray of molten liquid partially tainted Vix, and he ignored the pain of the burns.
Spinning in mid-air, the swordsman moved in on Kichōna.
Landing, another molten spike from a different limb was narrowly dodged, causing a burn on Vix's side.

His blade was pressed against Kichōna's neck.
Although still tense, Vix's face returned from an annoyed to a neutral expression.

"Checkmate."

Kichōna shifted her head, leaning into the blade. Her body softened as the blade dug into her molten flesh, and beneath said flesh, hooks of metal grabbed the blade.
Vix finally got a good look at what he was dealing with, and he was unable to hide the shock on his face.

"I... I did hit her earlier...! But she's MADE of MAGMA!?"

Kichōna still had a smile on her face.

"But we're still not finished, silly!"

Vix tried to pry his precious family heirloom free, but Kichōna's goopy body moved with him, boiling part of the ground as she was dragged across it.
At a point, she hooked herself in, and the dragging was stopped.
And while Vix was preoccupied, Kichōna whacked him solidly on his right ear.
A wave of sound aided the slap, and Vix's vision went blurry for a second.
Reflexively, he backhanded Kichōna with a free hand.
Her face gave no yield due to being hooked into both the blade and the ground, and globs of lava were launched from the impact.

Kichōna's eyes have vanished, but at least her mouth (the facial one) was still there. Her smile turned into a grin.

"Alright, I've decided! Even though I can't see, I'll hold my ground here!"

Vix scowled. Blood trickled out of his ear.

"Every cheat has a weakness! And I have your's right here!"

Electricity. Due to the properties of the Magmafication Kekkei Genkai, the Lightning Nature works best against it.
Vix's Nature.

A flash of blue sparks surrounded both combatants, and lightning pierced through them. If Kichōna currently had eyes, they would have widened in surprise.

Globs of magma dropped from Kichōna's body, and although she kept her form, she drooped. Her spiked arm, ready to pierce into Vix, stalled in place. Kichōna's smile faded, and instead, she had a confused expression. Or, as confused as you can get with just your mouth.

But Vix couldn't remove his sword.

"Damn it! Still holding on?"

And then a flash of red sparks surrounded both combatants.
Vix himself was shocked with a wave of electricity, and he felt like he was kicked sharply in the chest by a horse.
He fell to his knees, and his vision to the ground.
Although he kept his hand on his treasured blade, he himself was disoriented.
He focused, and he saw a molten hand taking in the dirt around it.
He looked back up at Kichōna's face, and her eyes reappeared.
She looked pleased.

Vix gritted his teeth, and his blood boiled.
Mostly because he noticed that his opponent now had another set of arms.

"How many CHEATS does she have!?"

One arm pointed to the ground, and she smiled.
Vix's gaze couldn't help but be directed to the ground, and he saw... a written note?

hi vicks
im thinking about the silent game and getting shocked
so im not gonna talk anymore
i wanna see the difference
talk as much as you like please

Pure anger crept up on Vix's face. His heart raced.

"S-SHE'S MOCKING ME!"

Kichōna looked at him expectingly, and gave him a sincere smile. She wanted a confirmation of engaging in her little experiment.

"DAMN YOU! YOU BROUGHT THIS UPON YOURSELF!"

Instead of pulling his sword out, Vix decided for it to go farther in.

Slashing his sword horizontally across, he fully and completely beheaded Kichōna. He coursed lighting through his blade to increase the effect.
Two of Kichōna's spiked arms pierced into Vix's stomach, which Vix assumed was purely reflex, like the dying breath of an animal.

Vix immediately regretted what he had done. He was blinded by rage, and didn't know what he was doing-

And then Kichōna's other arms grabbed her head and fitted it back on. He watched as the molten flesh merged itself together.
Kichōna visibly stifled a giggle, and then her free arms extended spikes.

Vix stared, and he subsequently exploded with anger.
A misty blue and black chakra surrounded him, and his eyes darkened in color; this was his Chakra Mode.

Kichōna smirked, and another two arms emerged from her sides, giving her a total of six.
Kichōna took a deep breath, and fully emerged from the ground.
She lessened her neck's grip on the blade, and Vix finally pried it from her with one swift movement.
Searing pain and two spikes in his abdomen, Vix watched as his opponent's body lost its orange glow.
Kichōna had become vulnerable, and entirely solid.
And as blood trickled from Vix's ear and mouth, he smirked as well.
He was going to enjoy this.
Didn't change for Kichōna; she was already enjoying it.

Ethereal blades appeared over Vix's shoulder, and his blade returning to his hand made him feel at ease. Despite the blood, pain, and frustration... he calmed as he glanced at his blade. Splotches of molten earth still remained on Yamato, and running his cloaked fingers over it gave them a slight burn. He acknowledged the burning feeling on his face and chest, and saw that splotches of magma remained on his own body. And despite the pain they still caused, he grew confident in knowing that he'd be avenged.

As for Kichōna, it was only a moment. Vix summoned several chakra blades, glanced at his real one, ran his fingers over it, and that was that. All in one swift motion. She used the second to ponder on her next move. She disabled her use of Magmafication due to a wish to conserve her drained chakra from such a taxing technique, and was looking for a change of pace. The pain from Vix's shock lingered with her, but she wasn't impressed.

"Vix... he sure is fast! And now he's faster! Wonder what I can do about that?"

A glimmer of fury sparked in Vix's eye.
He struck.
In a swift, clockwise slash, Vix brought the blade to Kichōna's side, where it was intercepted by her free arms. Both needles crossed as they blocked Vix's blade.
With her left side, Kichōna thrusted needles into Vix's direction, and they met the ethereal blades as response.
In a flurry, both fighters launched a multidirectional frenzy at one another; Vix's superior speed and plentiful angles of attack gave him the clear advantage.
Kichōna was being pressured, and heavily. As she defended against attacks from behind and above her due to Vix's Kekkei Genkai, as well as the superior swordsmanship from the fighter impaled in front of her, Kichōna utilized spikes and plates to shore up defenses.
The blows from ethereal blades that slipped past her broke against her shell, and with each broken mirage another crack formed.
Kichōna made one-handed seals with the hands who were bearing the spikes stuck in Vix's body; each hand made half of a seal:
Monkey, Boar, Tiger.
The spikes on her lower free arms ignited with electricity, and she then swung them to make an 'x' with Vix at the center.
Vix blocked the lightning-coated spikes with his blade, and a spiritual one crossed over Kichōna's cheek.
She wasn't fast enough to block it.
A drop of blood dripped out of the wound.
Vix's own blade was covered in lightning, preventing a shock from being transmitted to him; aided by his cloak of chakra, it prevented the superior flow from breaking through.
Pointed strands emerged from Kichōna's hands on her upper arms, and they wrapped around Vix's arms, occupied by clashing into part of her own.

"That cheat won't work!"

Two blades were summoned below Vix's elbows, they jutted forwards and cut the strands.
And they kept going.
Angled slightly upwards, Kichōna was once again too slow.
Direct hit.
Jabbed into her shoulders, the blades caused a spurt of blood before fading and leaving wounds.
Even with the close-quarters disadvantage for his longer blade, Vix had gained ground against his opponent.
He looked at her face, and his smirk grew into a grin.
He saw regret.

"Urgh! This isn't working... How lame..."
"You've done far enough! Prepare! Yamato!"

Yamato coursed with energy, and Kichōna's eyes lit up in alert.
The clash with the spikes ended; Yamato cut cleanly through.
The sword slashed down onto Kichōna.
Dust filled the air for a split-second.

Two small sounds were heard.
The sound of the thin spikes hitting the floor...
And a click.

The dust cleared, and Vix saw his opponent at a considerably farther distance away from him.
Yet her arms remained in his stomach.
His eyes focused, and he saw that Kichōna had slid away.
The arms were connected to an iron cable; they were effectively detatched from Kichōna like a sort of grappling hook.
The lines were taut; Kichōna was at the maximum distance she was allowing.
She put both pairs of arms together, and was clearly about to form hand seals.
At first, Vix's anger spiked, and he frowned.
But then a sick grin crept onto his face, and his chakra aura flared.

"You don't mind those arms not being quite so firmly connected? I can help with that!"

With a windmill slash, and a movement faster than Kichōna was able to respond to, Vix cleanly and swiftly amputated both arms from the middle of the upperarm.
Blood and mechanical workings were visible as they landed with a clank onto the floor.
Vix gave a small chuckle.

"You've been disarmed..."

Kichōna made no audible noise, and almost fell to her knees before catching herself.
The iron cables that connected her abdomen to what remained of her arms popped off of her.

Vix was not one to idly let an opportunity to crush his opponent go by.

From several different angles around her, ethereal blades appeared ready to skewer Kichōna from all directions.

"I advise you to surrender! Lest you lose more than a few arms..."

Kichōna merely glanced at the blades around her, still silent.

"K-KICHŌNA!"

This piqued her interest. Osamu shouted at his daughter from the stands. Next to him, Shimabukuro sat with a shocked face.

"I-IT'S OK! JUST SURRENDER!"

Kichōna looked at her father for a moment.
She looked back at her opponent.
Vix didn't see a shred of life in her eyes, but he did see a smile.

"...But it's just getting good?"
"Guess you don't know when to quit! I'm sure you'll still be smiling with what happens next!"

Osamu angrily called out at the Anbu.

"IT'S OVER! CALL IT OFF!"
"...Fine. We'll-"

A flash of crimson light engulfed Kichōna, and a spire of smoke rose around her.

Her decision was that the match would continue. Osamu screamed.

"DAMN IT, KICHŌNA!"
"Crush!"

Vix closed his outstretched palm, and the blades entered the pillar of smoke as soon as he could react to its sudden appearance.
The smoke at the bottom cleared, and the only thing Vix and the audience saw were the ghostly blades already fading from the world.
Vix scowled, and scanned the ground.

"This AGAIN!?"

Suddenly, a bullet of chakra zoomed out from the airborne cloud, and Vix was hit square in the leg, causing him to take knee.

"WHAT!?"

He looked above, and he saw his opponent hovering in the smoke. More of the haze cleared, and he saw six ghastly tendrils that flapped up and down in unison. They suspended their owner in midair.

Osamu growled to himself, still tense.

"My little rebel... she hid Homonculi Clay in her body as preperation. Now she's using one as wings!"

Shimabukuro cheered.

"G-GO, KICHŌNA!"

Kichōna, one hand outstretched into a cannon, smiled upon her opponent.
On her back, a plate of metal encased a Clay Doll.
Six holes in the layer allowed the Doll's wings to act for someone else.

Vix gritted his teeth.

"FINE! I'll cut you down; even from up there if you so desire, coward!"

Kichōna quizzically tilted her head at the swordsman; metal plates covered the open wounds she had.
She looked at Vix, and then shook her head to say no.
Vix tightened his grip on Yamato, and the wounds his opponent gave him seemed to increase in pain, simply from the anger he felt towards her.

Both combatants thought of one another.

"MOCKING ME, AGAIN!? SHE DOESN'T BELIEVE I CAN CUT HER!!"
"Huh? Why would I wanna be cut? I wanna do the cutting! Silly..."

Kichōna aimed all four hands she had, and cannons emerged from the three that were unarmed.

Vix summoned and launched blade after blade, and Kichōna swirled and weaved through the swords.
With four limbs, she deftly aimed and sprayed tiny bullets of chakra at her opponent.
Vix deflected what he could, but the bullets were not focused on weight and damage; they were focused on speed and would overwhelm him through sheer numbers.

"D-DAMN!"

Although the bulk of his aura blocked some projectiles, holes were eventually made across Vix's body over the continued air-to-ground battle, and small amounts of blood leaked out.
Holding Yamato in hand, Vix attempted to slash out Kichōna from the sky, but the harrying of Vix's body disrupted his focus and aim.
Whirlwinds of slashes appeared before Kichōna, but her erratic movements, and seemingly sudden dashes via Body Flicker enabled her to evade each one.
Vix studied his opponent, and got a better glimpse of her face.

...Six eyes.

With all six eyes, Kichōna was able to hit Vix with many of her assorted arrays of scattered bullets, despite her own movements throwing off her aim.
Vix was struggling, and knew he needed to end this unfavorable situation.
Fast.

As Vix did his best to dodge and deflect the weak but continuous assault wearing him down, he noticed something was... off.
Multiple flurries of bullets most certainly missed their mark.
Kichōna wasn't just aiming at Vix, she was aiming at places away from Vix.
While it could have been a simple attempt to hit two places at once, Vix stood his ground.
Surrounding himself with a barrier of all slashes, although exhausting, he was able to get a good look at what Kichōna was doing.
She would aim some volleys away from Vix, before actually aiming at him.
Her attacks weren't just an attempt to pin him down, she was corraling him somewhere.

"S-She's trying to pull a fast one on me...!"

From small amounts of blood that leaked out of the countless tiny holes covering Vix's body, he surmised the path he was taking, still in the midst of battle.

"Not moving me close to the walls... she's moving me towards the center!"

Vix examined the center of the arena as much as he could while being harassed by the painful bullets.
He had moved from attempting to fire back to simply focusing on defense.
And at the center of the arena, there wasn't much.
A few puddles of lava...
Some scraps of cloth from both participants...
His opponent's formerly connected arms...
A hole she had made while submerged in the ground?

"THAT'S IT! SHE'S GONNA TRY AND GET ME INTO THE HOLE BEFORE LAYING FIRE ON ME, SO I CAN'T ESCAPE!"

Vix laughed to himself.

"Heh, I've figured her out completely! I'll pretend to fall for the plan, lure her in, and strike her down!"

Vix resumed his attempt to fire back at Kichōna, and continued with the supposed 'tactics' as subtely as he could.
Vix neared closer and closer to the pit, barely stepping over a few blobules of magma, and made it side by side to the crescent-shaped pit, directly West of him.
This is where he had slashed his opponent the first time, the arms laying Southwest of him serving as proof, and he then resolved to slice again.

"Poetic!"

Vix readied his stance, took a blizzard of bullets head on, and prepared to attack.
Just as expected, Kichōna focused a wave of bullets that would direct him to the hole to his left, and she slightly lowered herself down to the ground.

"I'VE GOT YOU-"

Vix felt a sharp burning pain in both of his legs, knocking him to his knees.
His attack was halted.
The barrage struck him head on, and bullets caused more blood to leak out of him.
The attack made him collapse face first.

"GAH...! W-WHAT!?"

Vix felt the searing pain in his legs again, causing him to gasp, and he forced himself on his arms to gain a look at them.
His eyes widened in pure shock, and so did most of the crowd's.

From Kichōna's severed limbs, several black, crab-like legs had sprouted from them; a black spike dissimilar to Kichōna's own burst from the split hand.
It bubbled molten earth.

The legs of the intervening limbs faintly glowed with heat, and the earth around them softened, before entering the discarded limbs through the legs like a pump with water.
The structure of the limbs burned and began to fully slough off as two small creatures 'hatched' from them.
Although mysterious, it was clear to few of the more knowledgeable viewers what they were.
This sickening display was the result of Clay Dolls.

Kichōna happily mused to herself.

"Heehee, those Clay Dolls in there did come in handy! It's so cool how they used Magma-vacation to get bigger and hatch from my arms... and kinda cute~... And Vix really didn't see it coming! It was worth doing my best to insulate them from those shocks earlier..."

The centipede-like Dolls stabbed their burning weapons into Vix's legs, leaving him with severe burns on them.
They moved their way up his body, piercing him as they went along.
Eventually, they came up to Vix's Yamato, and one of the Dolls pierced his hand, and writhed to swat the Yamato out of reach.
Vix groaned, and he felt something inside him snap.

"W-Why... WHY can't I ever just have a FAIR fight? THIS ISN'T FAIR! EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHEAT TO BEAT ME! CHEATERS! EVERY TIME! EVERY BASTARD... ALWAYS... CHEATS...!"

Blue chakra surged around Vix.
Although his Chakra Mode had deactivated upon the sudden extreme pain, its familiar aura was starting to envelop Vix once again.
Black and blue sparks of lightning coated his entire body, and his Rage was reaching its apex.

Vix was finally tapping into the power of his Kekkei Genkai.
What made him a Natural Demon.
Kichōna could sense the pure killing intent coming off of Vix.
She was so happy, she couldn't help but giggle.

"...Pfft... HEEHEEHEEHEE! Aw, you made me lose the Silent Game! I think it does help!. Oh, well... this is WAY more fun! I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as me, Vix! Ok, let's finish it!"

A huge burst of chakra shattered the earth around Vix.
A flash of lightning instantly struck and eradicated the Clay Dolls.
As Vix stood, his form was completely changed.
He looked completely otherworldly.
Like a true demon.
He was completely blinded by rage, and his hands turned into jagged swords of twisted and toughened flesh.
Chakra jets formed in the flesh on his legs.

"THIS IS NOT A GAME! ESPECIALLY NOT ONE WHERE YOU CAN JUST CHEAT TO VICTORY! I WILL NOT LOSE TO CHEATING EVER AGAIN!
I WILL DESTROY YOU!
I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING!
"
"Awww, that's the spirit! I've been getting a big attack ready for you while you were getting stabbed down there~! C'mon, already!"

Kichōna only provoked Vix more.

With completely incredible speed, Vix burst up at his hovering opponent.
Holding out both of his sword-like hands, since he was unable to grab the swatted Yamato, he aimed to completely cut apart Kichōna in a whirlwind of slashes.

Kichōna held out her four mouthed-hands in front of her, and the chewing mouths let loose an entire stream of black Clay Dolls.
The small sphere Dolls had simple faces, and no limbs.
They were simply to designed to do nothing but burst and cause as much damage as possible.

As Vix met the stream of Dolls head on, they burst into localized but powerful, small explosions.
Some into flames, some into sound waves, some into lightning.
Yet none could completely stop him.
As Vix jettisoned himself through the Dolls, taking as much damage as he could allow, he finally made it to Kichōna, who still held out her hands towards him.

Vix viciously pierced both blades into her, and prepared to completely dice her to pieces via decisively slashing, flailing in a hurricane of his fury.

He saw that he had jabbed his hands into lava.
And then he saw Kichōna's tendril Clay wings swelling.
A genuine smile rested firmly on her face, and she happily looked at Vix with six dead eyes.

A huge blast of fire and heat surrounded both combatants, boiling them alive.
As the massive wave of thermal energy washed over the onlookers, some screamed, some averted their eyes, and the vast majority began to sweat.

Two figures plummeted to the ground.
First was Vix. Completely charred, and the flesh he gained from his transformation melted away from his skin and was scattered around the arena.

Next was Kichōna. A blob of magma, who reverted to her normal body soon after hitting the ground.
She had no more strength to cover up her wounds, so she was bleeding profusely.
She soon mustered the strength to stand up, and raised her hands in glee.

"Great job, Vix! You were really, really cool! I wanna fight you again, and see if you can get a new record of cut off arms!"

The Anbu swiftly appeared in a flicker before the comatose body of Vix, and coated his hand in soothing chakra before checking his pulse.

"I-It's a miracle...! He's still alive after that! G-Get someone out here, STAT!"

As medical shinobi gathered around the barely alive body of one of Kichōna's opponents... again, Osamu immediately ran to his daughter, kneeled down, and gave her a great hug.

"K-Kichōna!! You scared me...! D-DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!"
"Aw, it's ok! I had it under control, it was fine! I had a really fun time!"
"J-Just...!"

Osamu was choking up.
Kichōna pressed her cheek against his as she hugged him back.
She left a bloody mess all over him.

"Pfft... EW, heehee! I got my blood on you~!"
"What are you talking about?! L-Let's get you fixed up, right away!"
"Awww... but I wanna talk with my friends right now!"
"Y-You're MISSING two of your limbs!"
"...I got four more..."
"P-PLEASE, sweetie, let's get you all better!"
"Fine..."

Osamu carried Kichōna away, covered in her blood, while she waved happily to the crowd.

"See you guys next time~!"
