You’re waiting in your car in a tech company parking lot. The person who you were supposed to be picking up was late. From her messages, it sounded like they had dragged her into a last minute meeting. Again. Your phone buzzes and lets you know she’s on her way out. Oddly, as you look towards the doorway everything gets a little dimmer. Like the very light is being stolen. But your day is brightened when you see her exit the building.

Airi walks out the front door, looking depressed and tired. You exit the car and call out to her. As she looks up to see you, her ears perk up and her mouth bends into a big smile. Airi runs towards you and falls into your waiting arms. You give each other a big hug as Airi mumbles an apology into your chest.

“Sorry Anon, they didn’t tell me about this meeting until this morning.” Airi says, wiping her eyes. You kiss her on the forehead and tell her not to worry about it. It’s not exactly bad having her press her body against yours. Airi takes your arm and leans against you as you walk together back to your car. As you open the door for her, Airi sniffs at your shirt.

“Something smells off about you…” Airi says softly. You explain that you were at her place earlier. Her mom had called to let you know Airi had forgotten her bag at home.

“A…” Her face freezes in shock for a few seconds. She slowly raises her hand and ponks it on her head. “Tehe pero…”

Laughing, you give Airi another hug before you both get in the car and head off. Airi starts playing some music as you stealthily start lowering the volume for what’s to come. You’ve barely made it fifteen minutes before it starts. Airi spots a plane nearby and starts talking about an episode of Mayday she saw recently. She talks and talks as you listen. Air investigations, k-pop drama, work drama, Remi’s obsession with cat bawls; nothing is off topic and yet nothing is on topic. She never fully finishes off a story before moving to a new one. Not that it matters to you. Every second of talking is another one that you get to spend together; instead of being stuck at work or seeing her sad from her black company.

As she talks, every so often she’ll subtly sniff the air and look over to you. It's like she wants to say something but doesn’t have the courage to. After an hour or two, you’ve made it out of the city and are alone on the road together. Airi leaned her head on your shoulder as she continued talking. You see a rest stop approaching and her ears snap to attention.

“Pull over Anon.” She commands. You pull into the rest stop and park the car. You’ve barely stopped before Airi has clambered over the center console. She pins your arms down as she starts rubbing her head all over your chest and shoulders. Pulling back and panting, Airi starts unbuttoning the top of her shirt, exposing her slightly damp cleavage. She grabs the hair on the back of your head and shoves your face between her breasts. The scent of slightly musky sweat and peaches fills your nose. Not letting Airi have all the fun, you reach behind her and grab her tiny hiney with both hands. You can hear her moan as she starts rubbing her head on yours.

Airi takes a few more sniffs before she pulls you out from your happy place. Staring into her eyes you can see her turning red before she leans in to hide her face.

“Sorry, I don’t know what got over me…I just felt so annoyed at you smelling of someone else.” She whispered in your ear. Kissing her neck you start to slide a hand along Airi’s thigh, but she pulls away and starts climbing back into her seat. As she does, her tail brushes across your face and you get another big whiff of Airi’s smell.

“Come on, let’s get to the hotel.”

The rest of the drive passes in relative silence. Every so often you can see Airi sniff the air and grin happily. For you however, the drive is dangerous. Every breath you take smells of Airi. The entire car smells of her scent. And with how excited you got earlier, it’s taking every bit of your concentration to keep on the road.

After what feels like an eternity, you can see the hotel. There isn’t much to say about it other than one important detail. No cell reception. Though apparently they serve a really good steak. You park at the entrance and Airi takes your arm again as you head to reception. As you receive the room key, the concierge welcomes you and your wife to the hotel. As soon as the word wife crosses his lips you can feel Airi’s grip on your arm tighten as her tail wags in delight.

“I’m going to take a shower. I feel stinky…” Airi says as the two of you enter the room. Nodding you let her head to the bathroom as you start to unpack. Waiting to hear the shower run, you strip down and enter the bathroom. Airi turns to look at you in surprise before you push her up against the wall. Your lips lock as your hands explore Airi’s slippery, wet body. You can feel her hands grip your shoulders before sliding down your back to grab your ass. You break apart momentarily to take in Airi’s naked form. Water from the shower rolls down her cleavage, her hair plastered to her chest. As you move to continue, Airi places her hand on your chest to stop you.

“Anon…do you mind if we cuddle in the bath first? I’d rather continue on the bed.” She says blushing furiously. You nod and set the bath to start filling. Airi takes a seat across your lap and rests her head on your chest. One of her hands intertwines with yours as the other caresses your chest. You rest your second hand on her hip and the two of you relax in the hot, soapy water. The two of you chit chat for a bit, interspersed with some tender loving kisses. As you stare down at Airi’s face as she yaps, you can see how all the stress and sadness that you saw when you met today was gone.

As Airi quiets down, you seize the moment and slide your free hand between Airi’s thighs. She squeezes your hand and nods. You get out of the tub and towel off, not wanting to break eye contact with each other. Picking Airi up in your arms you carry her toward the bed. Just as you go to set her down, Airi says

“It’s not a safe day…but I don’t mind if you-”
