Gabaxe

Gabaxe, also known as Kabahe or Kabaxe, is a city located in the heart of North Aljólin. Serving as the capital of the North, it is also the residence of its Kings.
Gabaxe is also home of many technological businesses (most notably AJTV and JAMB).
History
Back in 2934, King Alvion the Stonecarver established Gabaxe. He saw that the Mountain of the Fort had real potential as a strong defensive site. Construction kicked off with the Fort Gabaxe, complete with its impressive towers.
In the year 3076, an unforeseen event unfolded. The Frost Giants of Órin, having caught wind of the Whispering Orb concealed within Gabaxe's core, descended upon the city in pursuit of it. This marked the commencement of the Battle of the Frozen Heights, a conflict that would span nearly three months.
The giants, towering and unrelenting, marched southward, their path marked by destruction and despair. They were driven by a prophecy that spoke of a powerful artifact hidden within Gabaxe's very heart, something they believed would grant them dominion over the land. As the giants approached, the city's leaders knew that this was a battle they could not afford to lose.
However, the engineers of Gabaxe secured victory through clever traps. The most famous of these was the Great Stonefall, a device that unleashed a torrent of boulders down the mountainside as the giants neared, effectively burying a large part of their forces.
When Anivóren, who was the 23rd King to rule in Aljólin, finally took the reins of power, he decided to move the royal seat to Fort Gabaxe.
These days, the city also serves as Aljólin's technology hub. JAMB continues to be the top-selling mobile phone company in all of Gründala, and AJTV boasts one of the most technologically advanced television channels in Aljólin.
The city also holds the title of Grand Archive of Gabaxe, a repository boasting a one-of-a-kind collection of texts dedicated to the history of Gründala.
It is said that within these hallowed halls, one can find secrets of the earth itself.

Cathedral of Peace

The Cathedral of Peace, the largest in Gabaxe, stands on the Island of Armies in the city's south. It was erected following the Battle of the Frozen Heights, serving as a new cathedral adjacent to the old one's remains.
