The World Bible of Gruen Dhala I: The Creation of the World
In the abyss of the cosmos, where the shadows danced and the whispers of the void grew weary, there emerged a solitary spark of brilliance. This was Eä, the eternal guardian, whose essence was the very fabric of existence. From the womb of darkness, it grew, a beacon in the vast sea of oblivion. In a moment of divine revelation, the spark grew into a radiant orb, casting aside the shadows to reveal a swirling maelstrom of potential.
Eä, in its infinite wisdom, beheld the image of life upon its ethereal brow—a sphere brimming with vitality and untouched by the cold hand of entropy. Inspired by this vision, it spoke forth the sacred command: "Let there be light!" And lo, the heavens were rent asunder, and the light of creation bathed the void, giving rise to the four cardinal elements: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air.
The Earth, ever steadfast, took form as Ardara, the stoic guardian of the land. Water, ever-changing and deep, became Velara, the nurturer of life. Fire, fierce and unbridled, manifested as Fyara, the passionate forger of destinies. And Air, ever-present and unseen, revealed itself as Ventara, the breath of creation.
These four Spirits, born from the will of Eä, descended upon the nascent world, shaping the continents and seas to their whims. The great lands of the North, the sprawling expanses of the South, the wild terrains of the West, and the endless horizon of the East—each a canvas for the Elemental Spirits to leave their indelible marks upon.
As the world grew lush with the kiss of nature, the Elemental Spirits danced to an unheard melody, crafting mountains, valleys, and forests that whispered the secrets of the cosmos. The ball grew large, as vast as the imagination of the deity that had conjured it forth. Thus, with a flourish of power, the universe was born, a monument to the boundless creativity of its shaper, Eä.
