Sherah and the Saplings: Contact

Sherah was in tears of joy. After all this time she had made it to the sapling forest and here she was, being greeted by a very kind man and even offering her an open invitation. The scary part of the mission was over. She could now focus on her task at hand of obtaining sapling magical abilities.

Hamdani being right next to her had to calm her down. Her face was as red as a lobster and it took a minute for her to finally calm down. Hamdani apologized to Visus and explained the extreme importance on the mission and how much it means to them.

After Sherah finally composed herself she began with a formal introduction. "Sorry about that, anyway my name is Sherah. I am the leader of the risuners sent here and as you have already figured out, I am gifted with magical abilities. What you people refer to as shamans we call them witches back at my country.

I have come here because my nation has been dealing with horrible terrorists and raiders for a very long time. It is not only my mission but the will of all risuners that we learn of your sapling magic. In exchange for you teaching us your magical powers I will teach you how to use magic our way and the other risuners who are not gifted with magical abilities will help you with whatever you need."

Visus stood there for a good moment. To think of another person besides a sapling using sapling magic has never been requested before. Could they reall learn without devotion to Fauna? And would the saplings be able to utilize risuner magic? Questions that filled his head until he came to a conclusion. If this one risuner women could teach the saplings things that could help them with forest preservation and enhance their lifestyle then surely she should be given the chance.

"I would like to show you something, Hamdani my staff." Hamdani handed Sherah a grape blaster. These staffs looked similar to a large wand to Visus with a gem protruding at the end of it. He initially thought it is a nice decoration until he saw the gem glow and activate. The entire crystal seemed to ignite in flames like a purple torch and Sherah fired it right into the dirt. The purple fireball erupted from the staff and impacted the ground, setting a small fire on the dirt.

The blast shocked Visus and the nearby saplings as Hamdani put out the fire. Sherah looked over at Visus with an embarassed but proud face.
"Of course different gems do different things. Weapons, creation, and all sorts of effects. I would be happy to show you"
