Intricacies of Bombarda
Upon first cast I noticed a tingling surge of energy shoot through my veins as I begun the incantation. It is possible to accelerate this with focus. The effects are noticeable as the blast is larger. Once cast, I can barely see what looks like a bolt of blue lightning connect from my wand to the target. If this is the case, the spell rapidly focuses a large amount of energy into matter. Then the energy is immediately released from that point, causing a violent explosion and often destroying everything near the point of contact. Using this knowledge I have planned to try mimicking the effects with other spells.
It is also worth noting that wand movements affect the outcome of the cast. The "lance" technique produced a contained precision explosion, limiting the destructive capabilities but capable of punching through materials that were otherwise resistant to energetic force. The "overhead lob" would cause the spell to veer towards the ground. I have also noticed that its interaction with Protego makes it take the lowest possible flightpath. Even worse, the "flame wisp" technique makes the spell's path chaotic. Perhaps it would be best to use more reliable methods.

Avada Kablamo (Exploding Curse)
The killing curse, which purportedly requires a killing intent for it to work, could probably be manipulated into an explosive spell meant to violently kill. Intention required to cast Avada Kablamo is very muddy. First off, "Kablamo" is not a real word in any language as far as I am aware of. Yet it does have meaning and feels "perfect" for Kadavra's replacement, as it does effectively shift the dynamics of the spell mid-incantation from killing to causing an explosion. Though, I must admit the lack of potency is not what I expected. In fact, I believe this gives some insight into what the Killing Curse is: it simply kills you. At its core, it directs intent and makes it real. So by shifting the letters of the incantation and the intention powering the spell, I have been successful in changing the spell all together. Whether or not you want them to die matters not in the effectiveness of this spell, just to explode. The explosion tends to get more violent the more you want it. Ultimately, as far as the spell goes, death is a byproduct of the explosion.
One thing I will mention, Bombarda Maxima has the same destructive power but it is limited and controlled. Avada Kablamo is powered by emotion and requires more intent, making it potentially more powerful than Maxima. Will need to practice.

Lumos Maximmensus (Great Immense Light or Conjure Sun)
With my successes involving the Exploding Curse, I have managed to turn one of the most harmless spells into something capable of causing harm. Lumos produces light similar to sunlight at the tip of your wand. Maxima makes it blinding. Maximmensus, which comes from Maxima and Immensus (boundless), causes the light to become dangerously bright. My first test was indoors in a poacher den located under the Hog's Head. The casting technique is the same as Lumos, however, the second wand movement must be conducted in a more offensive manner. Preferably, tossing the compact glob of light forming at the tip of your wand into the area you wish to affect.
I took no chances with this spell. Made sure I was masked, covered in garb from head to toe, tossed the spell into the middle of the den and IMMEDIATELY turned away, making sure to hide my eyes. The light was intense enough that it left everything it touched smoking. I could feel a sharp blast of heat slam against me. It is a shame I couldn't exactly witness it in action. Fortunately, it gave me a giggle because the next thing I heard was a gruff man scream, "BLOODY FUUUCK!!" and much more. Without going into too much detail, I had to end their misery because this spell disintegrated exposed skin and caused flammables to combust. It is a good thing I waited for these bastards to empty their cages before I tested. It wouldn't be fair to the animals.

Minima (Suppress Spell)
I've spent my entire life utilizing Minima. Its exactly the same as Maxima, save for the suppression effects. The reason why I never see anyone else use it, however, is because it reduces the potency of the spell the more you put into it until it produces nothing but the tiniest, ineffective spark. In fact, it easily turns bombarda into a popping spell with the force of a lazily tossed rock. But it still has more force than a generic offensive spell. I'm managed to cast Bombarda Minima silently and to great effect. Popping the side of a cauldrom with it makes it ring. Should I wish to terrorize poachers, I can most definitely make them suffer with it.
