hi im isaiah & i really love old technology and i collect a ton of it myself my main goal is achieving the sony dvr discontinued playstation-X exclusively and ONLY soold in japan that sold out due to technical issues with overheating and overpriced, why get a PSX for around ¥60,000 yen when you can get a regular ps2 for a ¥40,000 yen?
on the playstation portable or the ps3 you probably notice how it's layed out, as well as a couple tvs made by sony they have the xmb, did you know that the playstation-X was the first to have the cross media bar/xmb ? mainly for testing purposes.!!! i also really like mathematics but that's besides the point lalala.
did you know the playstation X can photoshop pictures and burn CD's? absolute cinema! for something released in the 2003 range, truly it was way ahead of it's time. it's also backwards compatible with Playstation™ and Playstation 2™ game discs as it has a built in ps2 within. it also has the format of DVD'S and RW because of this.
The PSX supports both PS1 and PS2 memory cards, besides for the pocketstation as it is the only format memory card PSX doesn't take kindly to when inserted. however excluding this, firmware updates (yes, including versions 1.10 and 1.20) added these features later on. did you know the psx was released 3 days before my birthday? (dec 16) absolute bollocks ! anywho,, did you know it also supports mp3 audio format ?
also unfortunate 2 hear ik, but tragically due to it's discontinuation and since it never released outside japan due to being a failure - it was then declared regionlocked and if you do happen 2 own a PSX (or know someone who does) you'll have 2 buy games directly frm japan ./ BY THE WAY A PSX IS NOT A PS1 SO STOP EFFING CALLING IT ONE JSUT CALL IT A PLAYSTATION ( OR A PS1 DEPENDING ON WHETHER THE MODEL IS A SLIM OR NOT ) U OVERLY FANCY KNOT
