Brennan reached across and scrubbed at it, and Archie caught at him, letting go of the Switch as he shoved Brennan's hand off. He grinned at him, aiming a jab in at his stomach. Brennan dropped his own console and brought his knee up to block him, so when Archie feinted past it they were both off balance; it was like Archie had tackled him back onto the bed, and Brennan flipped and pinned him on instinct. He saw it, then, right before it happened: the brightness changing in Archie’s eyes, the hand reaching up for him uncurling into an open palm. Archie pulled him down and kissed him fast, full on the mouth, his palm cupped loose around Brennan’s jaw.
