Do I recommend this model? Well, yes. If you're used to Flux or any similar models, i.e., Nanobanana, especially on Tensor art, it's less expensive to run Zib/Zit than Flux, Chroma, etc.

What are ZIT and ZIB? ZIB stands for Z-Image Base; ZIT, on the other hand, means Z-Image Turbo. They're both base models made by Tongyi-Mai and are on the same line as Nanobanana & Flux 2!
Turbo? What turbo? Turbo is faster, running between 1-9 steps pretty well with ultra-low CFGs (think 1 or 1.2). It is fast and has neat prompt adherence. The only fault it has is being bad at generating and understanding LoRAs if not done correctly. But yeah, you can run it on 20 steps and 1.5 CFG; it will just take too long—that is not its function. Became pretty good if you use ZIB loras with it.
instead, use zib. the new base model—it surpassed my expectations for someone who disliked Flux's prices and how awful it was. Okay, you can try whatever you want with this one. It's so new I can't really say what's the best (also it has a bit of a problem with hands), but what I use is either the recommendations of the model itself or... euler a, cfg 3-5, steps 20-25.
so: you can use zib loras with turbo, but not turbo loras with zib (you can always try btw
Tensor is giving a discount on gens & Lora training on Z-image base. They refund what you wasted on Lora training (do not go over 1000 because they only refund 1000 and less).
