Hell Raven Rebirth
“Oh, what’s that?” I pointed at a frilly, pink umbrella that someone had inexplicably left in the middle of the park. I wasn’t really all too interested in it– I just needed an excuse to get my friend to stop talking about Touhou so I could explain to him that his obsession with the series was starting to get concerning. We’d been friends for a while, and I really didn’t want to have to stop talking to him– we shared a lot in common, we even looked pretty similar, except that his hair was brown, not black, and I was ever so slightly taller.
“Weird that someone would just– Hey, are you listening to me?” A nervous, sinking sensation balled up in my gut as my friend’s eyes gleamed with excitement– that umbrella had to be something related to Touhou if he was having that kind of reaction.
“N-Nevermind. Look, while I still have your attention–” It was already too late. My friend completely ignored me as he ran over to the umbrella and picked it up, waving for me to follow him as he lifted it over his head.
He smiled like an idiot as he held Yukari’s umbrella over his head– I tried to stop him, but it was too late– he gasped like he’d been punched in the gut, his entire body trembling as he began to change.
My friend moaned as his chest swelled, the small lump in his pants shrinking away as his body took on a decidedly feminine look. His grip on the umbrella loosened as he doubled over– was he moaning? I nervously approached my friend as the umbrella fell out of his hands, hesitating as he grew in height, becoming taller and bustier. His hair became golden blonde as it grew down to his shoulders, continuing to spread down his back as his features smoothed out. He let out a groan of bliss as his fingers slimmed, staring at himself in rapt excitement as his chest swelled again, his nipples puffing up as his jawline softened.
My friend’s boobs jiggled as he squeaked in excitement– he shuddered as he straightened up, rubbing his waist as it dipped inwards, gasping and moaning as womanly curves took over his body. I couldn’t believe he was enjoying this, but I was too shocked to say anything about it. What was I supposed to say, anyway? Telling him that he was turning into a woman seemed pretty redundant. And I couldn’t really call anyone about this, either– they’d think I was out of my mind.
I jolted as my friend clutched my chest, hurrying over to him as his eyes turned lavender. His body seemed to shift slightly as I approached, it looked stronger, healthier. I flinched as my friend suddenly shot to his feet, staring up at him as he cackled loudly and grabbed the umbrella again. His clothes shifted as he looked down at me, his simple, mundane t-shirt and slacks merging together into a frilly white dress. A purple tabard unraveled on top of the dress as a bonnet with a red ribbon appeared on his head– he adjusted it as two more red ribbons tied themselves to his ass-length blonde hair. I blushed as my friend’s breasts wobbled, feeling a little anxious as I saw the smug grin on his face. He licked his lips as white socks crept up his legs, his shoes morphing into dainty red slippers as he patted himself down.
I backed away as my friend stalked towards me, gulping as I saw the grin on his… her face. I tried to keep my voice steady, gulping as I nervously spoke up.
“A-Are you… ok? You’re still you, right? That umbrella didn’t do anything weird?”
That only made my friend’s smirk widen. I took a shallow breath as her smile took on a sadistic tinge, an embarrassing whimper escaping my lips as she snickered and replied. “Oh, the umbrella didn’t do anything weird~ It made me perfect… Thank you~”
“Y-You’re welcome?”
Apparently, that wasn’t enough for my friend. She shook her head– god, that smile was unsettling… “Now it’s my turn to make you perfect!”
“N-No thanks, I– Ahhhhh!”
I screamed in terror as the ground opened up below my feet, tumbling into a purple void covered with eyes. I shivered as I heard my friend’s laugh echoing around me, my voice trembling as I yelled back at them.
“W-Where am I?” My voice cracked as I stared around. Those demonic looking eyes were freaking me out, they hadn’t blinked a single time since my friend shoved me into this void space. I took a nervous step back as I waited for a response, uncomfortable prickles running along my skin as I felt the eyes’ gaze on me.
“Don’t worry about it. I just need to thank you for turning me into Yukari.” I winced as her voice boomed around me, gasping as I felt my shoulder blades itch. She was changing me!
I moaned as black feathers began to sprout on my back, gritting my teeth as they twitched uncontrollably. I felt my throat seize up as my Adam’s apple flattened out, my panicked squeals rising in pitch as those wings kept growing. My muscles softened as my new wings unfurled, my whole body becoming softer and curvier as I desperately begged my friend to stop.
“Dude, s-stop! What’s… nghhh… happening?”
All I got back in response was an amused laugh. I whimpered as my hips flared out, feeling my bones shift as my thighs became thick and plump– all while my cock was slowly shriveling up. I instinctively wrapped my wings around myself as my chest plumped up, shuddering as the combined sensation of growing boobs and a pussy filled me with pleasure. I couldn’t do much– I just doubled over and squirmed as my manhood shrank away.
I shot up a few centimeters as my ass swelled up, my hair turning brown and stretching down past my shoulders at the same time. It reached all the way down to my butt before stopping. My chest tingled again as my eyes turned red— I didn’t think much of the feeling at first until I looked down and saw an enormous red eye nestled inside my cleavage.
I screamed in shock as the eye glanced around, hyperventilating as I tried to cover it up. My wings shivered as my pants morphed into a mint green skirt, but I was too busy trying to deal with the eye to notice the change, barely realizing that my shirt was becoming white and frilly as I clawed at the demonic-looking eye. Was I being possessed? It would make sense, with all the other changes, the wings and genderswap… and it did look a lot like the eyes that were still staring at me.
“Heyyyy! Help!” I screamed as I tried to peel the eye away from my chest, hissing in pain as I felt a sharp, unpleasant tingling. A cape billowed out of my shirt as the eyes around me started to fade, resting on my wings as the void disappeared and I was shot back out into the real world. I panted as I steadied myself, looking down at myself in shock as my friend giggled and hugged me.
“Wow, you look just like Utsuho now! So, how does it feel, being a youkai?”
I pushed my friend away as a lump formed in my throat, blinking back tears as I dropped to my knees. I didn’t know what to think, I didn’t want any of this, I–I… I wrapped my wings around myself as tears leaked out of my eyes, sniffling as Yukari put a hand on my shoulder.
“Hey, stop crying! You’re probably one of the strongest beings on the planet, you know? Now that you’re Utsuho, you can create nuclear fusion on command! People would kill to have that kind of power, you know… you could snap your fingers and destroy a city in a millisecond!”
I snarled as my friend started to babble about Touhou again, feeling a little light-headed as my hands grew warm. This whole obsession was what got me into this mess in the first place, and they didn’t even realize what they’d done to me! Did they seriously expect me to be happy about this? Heat bubbled between my hands as I summoned a white-hot ball of plasma, and I shook with anger as my friend continued to talk and talk and talk.
I screamed in frustration as plasma exploded from my hands in a concentrated beam– but at the last second, I changed my aim, barely missing my friend and instead vaporizing a group of trees near us. My friend paled as she saw the smoldering crater I had made, retreating into her portal as I stood up and glared at her.
“Ah. Well, I’ll come back when you realize how awesome your new body is. See ya!” Her portal sealed up before I could do anything else. I huffed as my hands cooled back down, my wings slowly folding against my back as I angrily rubbed away my tears.
“That bastard…” I sighed as I looked down at myself again, prodding the eye on my chest as I thought about what to do next. I definitely didn’t want someone to find me here like this… but I couldn’t exactly leave, either, someone would definitely see me on my way out. I needed to get home, somehow. Hopefully my parents wouldn’t freak out too much…
I stretched my wings and curiously flapped them, my expression brightening a little as I felt myself lift off the ground ever so slightly. It took a few tries, but I eventually managed to hover above the ground. I wasn’t sure how to feel, on one hand, being able to fly was cool, the feeling of my wings beating against the air was great– but every flap reminded me of what my friend had done to my body. My boobs strained against my shirt as I took off, shakily flying through the air, soaring past the clouds as I made my way home.
The flight was fast, if a bit chilly, and I made it home in a few minutes. I tucked my wings against my back as I took a breath to steady myself, trying not to think about my bastard of a friend as I rang the doorbell.
I winced as my mom opened the door, clearing my throat as she stared at me in shock. This was more awkward than I thought it’d be… “U-Um… Hi, mom.”
“I’m sorry, do I know you?” She furrowed her eyebrows as she tightened her grip on the door, subtly pushing it closed as I held out my hand to stop her.
“Yeah. I’m your son. It’s… it’s a long story. But I promise it’s me. So you know how I walked to the park today with my friend?” I anxiously fidgeted as my mom called for my dad, trying to ignore the way she was staring at the eye on my chest as she responded.
“Yes…?”
I gulped before responding. “An accident happened. With a magic umbrella or something– it turned my friend into some game character, I think? And then he made me into one too. And, um… according to him I have nuclear fusion powers?”
“...”
My mom’s silence was a little concerning…
“You had better come in. Explain this to your dad.” I sighed in relief as my mom invited me inside, tugging on my skirt as I walked into the living room and took a seat, feeling my ass sink into the cushion more than normal. I put my hands on my thighs, instinctively wrapping my wings around myself as my dad came downstairs and did a double take at my appearance.
After another awkward explanation, my mom and dad shared a glance, then turned back to me. “So…” My dad began, trailing off as my mom jumped into the conversation.
“This is a lot to take in.”
My dad raised an eyebrow, nodding as he stared at me. “Yeah. Your story lines up, though…”
My mom gave me a worried look. “Shouldn’t we take her to the hospital and have this checked out?”
“Yeah, I’m sure they know how to handle a demon. Especially one that could blow up a small country.” I scoffed, blushing as I quickly backtracked. “S-Sorry, I’m just–”
I huffed as my mom hugged me, gingerly hugging her back with my wings as my dad patted my shoulder. I blinked as I felt myself tear up, exhaling as my mom muttered into my ear soothingly.
“It’s fine, honey. We still love you! We’ll make sure you get through this.”
My dad chuckled, chiming in with a joke as my mom squeezed me tighter. “And maybe you can use that power of yours to save us some money on the power bill.”
My mom rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she let go of me. “Ignore him.”
I shakily giggled, feeling a lot better after being comforted by my parents. I rubbed my eyes as the tears I’d been holding back finally streamed down my face, hiccuping softly as I swept them both into a hug. “Thanks, mom… Thanks, dad…”
I hugged my mom and dad for a few more minutes before gently letting go of them, wiping away the last of my tears as I smiled. I still wanted to find some way to go back to normal, but that would have to wait until I saw my friend again. Maybe he’d be… Oh, shit.
I had university tomorrow… and so did my friend. And I knew he didn’t have the shame to stay at home and not bother anyone else– he was definitely going to abuse his power again. My parents gave me a concerned look as my face scrunched up in worry, flinching as my hands began to heat up.
“Feeling alright?” My mom nervously poked my shoulder.
“Ah! Sorry…” I muttered, taking a deep breath to calm down as I started making plans for tomorrow. As much as I hated the idea of going out like this, I couldn’t really let my friend run around either. “I’m– I’m going to lay down for a little. I feel tired. Thanks again for not freaking out on me.”
“No problem. Sleep well!”
