Is it better than (any other preset)?
If you are satisfied with your current preset, I don't think it's 'different' enough to warrant a change.
If you aren't satisfied with your current preset, check the log to see if you like the style.
How is it structured?
- Roleplay Main contains card definitions, persona, scenario and lorebook information. Chat Examples are disabled by default but you can insert them there as well.
- Roleplay Story contains the current chat history in an XML tag.
- Roleplay Tags contain some tags/genres like for example "Slice of Life". My reasoning was that since Claude was trained on fanfics, it probably understands such things. I'm not entirely sure if they work, but I decided to leave them in. You should change them depending on which type of bots you roleplay with.
- Roleplay Prose contains instructions for the prose. "Write in the style of..." probably doesn't change anything, but I'm too lazy to test it.
- Roleplay Rules contain some things I found to be important for Claude to remember.
Anything else to consider?
- Probably will not work for scenario cards.
- Prefill may not be enough for hardcore stuff.
- There is no "Claude, please don't make every character a slut during NSFW" prompt included so it may or may not be a problem.
