How to launch a payload

Step 1:

Entering RCM

---

• You can either buy a jig off eBay, Amazon, Aliexpress, Wish or make your own using a metal paper clip.
  • The paper clip method is not recommended as it could damage the pins in your rail.

Jig:

• Power down your console and place the jig inside of the right railing as shown on this picture.

• Hold the (VOL +) button and press the button.
  • Your Switch display will be black, do not panic, this is normal and
    means that you're booted into RCM.

Step 2:

Preparing to inject

• Windows:

---

1. Download and install the .msi version of TegraRcmGUI
2. Go to the Settings tab, then press Install Driver.
3. Connect your switch to your pc.
4. Wait until the switch icon turns green and shows RCM OK, you are now ready to select and inject the payload.
5. Go to the payloads tab and press on the button right of the directory then select your payload .bin (You will get the required .bin files in the next steps of this guide)

• Rekado (Android)
• NXBoot (iOS , requires a jailbroken device)
• Portable Payload Injector (Can be bought on Amazon, eBay, Aliexpress, and Wish)
