Hagu Curses and Blessings

Overall:
To give a curse or blessing, 5 holy sites which have a large amount of magic rocks around it, have been positioned in a big star shaped glyph around the nation of Hagu. There each got a special location that has runes and glyphs all over to form the basic of a curse/blessing with no specific detail. Additionally, 5 bearers are chosen that also got tattoos on their bodies that not only feature the basics of a curse/blessing, but also the specific details chosen for the curse/blessing. These tattoos feature ink that also includes magic rocks of both the concept of /hag/, as well as the target concept. Once a curse/blessing is going to be performed, a big fire is lit in the 5 places, and depending on the curse/blessing, while the chosen items are burned or boiled, highly detailed procedures are being undertaken. Depending on location these procedures change in each location, but feature things like prayers, dance, singing, chanting and so forth. Once the rituals at the 5 sites are finished, the ashes or broth are cleansed from impurities and the 5 bearers are to bring them to a special location that is in the center of the star, that also has a high amount of magic rock around it. There the 5 bearers undertake one final ritual to finish the curse/blessing and are to bring a vessel, usually a bowl, either filled with blood fueled fire or liquid of the end product, back to their holy site. It is from this that the common saying: "Never interrupt a woman carrying a bowl." comes from, which people nowadays take as a common saying to mean: "never interrupt a woman when she is concentrating" but actually was meant to not interrupt the bearers carrying their vessels. If the vessels are not taken care of, destroyed or otherwise disrupted, the curse/blessing ends for both the intended target and the bearers. The exception is the vile curse of the ash barren womb, for its effect can never be reversed for the bearers.

Curse:
Objects representing the function of the curse are being burned down to ashes. After it, the ashes are cleansed from impurities and brought to the final ritual. The curse ends with a flame that represents the Curse and that burns only with the blood of the bearers. The bearers are inflicted with the curse themselves and experience not only the same suffering as the intended target, but an even more concentrated version of the curse.

Blessing:
Objects representing the function of the blessing are being boiled in a pot made out of pure magical rocks with special water made from snow gathered at the most southern part of Hagu, that was blessed with the sweat of the warrior maidens at the Colosseum of hard-earned victories, holy site of Botan, until they create a discolored broth at each site. The broth is then cleansed from impurities that came in through the ritual, like ashes from the fire or those that were present in the water already before the boiling. The broth is then brought to the final ritual where the final steps are taken, all that include cutting the hand and filling part of the broth with blood of each bearer, and part of the broth is filled into a vessel and has to be refilled with a bearers blood in order to stop the evaporating of the liquid. Bearers, however, do not share into the blessing and instead suffer from an effect opposite of the blessing as a personal curse for them.

Known Curses:

Known Blessings:

Lusitania - Blessing of iron focus.
Blessing specific steps - The boiling of metal dust, that has been ground from the hammerheads from Lusitania, that each have been swung at least 100.000 times, at each site. All broth is boiled in a pot of highest quality of metals from Lusitania, that had taken at least 1.000.000 hammer strikes to be crafted, that has special glyphs welded onto it made out of pure magic rocks from the concept of /mhm/. Broth to fill the vessel has to be scooped with bare hands while still boiling. The rest of the broth has to be drunken by the bearers until the last drop.
Effects on target - Giving people that work with metals an increased focus, making them able to easily get into "the zone" when they work, able to envision their work more easily, seemingly without effort to think of complex thoughts related to their work while working metal and more easily able to drown out the outside. They also seem to spent less energy concentrating when deeply focusing on their metal craft, and thus able to work metal far longer before getting exhausted.
Effects on bearers - Bearers have to endure the pain of a nonlethal iron poisoning on their way back. Unable to form long coherent thoughts. Spacing out constantly and even need constant reminders from others on what they are supposed to do like fueling their vessel or eat.

Vinägy Hanhöm - Blessing of inner warmth.
Blessing specific steps - Can only be held in the middle of winter. The boiling of fabric and materials used in clothing worn by people of the concept of /vnug/, that each got touched by snow from 10 different winters while touching skin of a person from the concept of /vnug/, at each site. All broth is boiled in a pot crafted from leather from clothes worn by people of the concept of /vnug/, each piece having to have touched snow from 20 different winters while touching the skin of a person from the concept of /vnug/, that has special glyphs stitched onto it containing pure magic rocks from the concept of /mhm/. After the vessel have been filled with the broth, each drop of water left has to be poured on the bare skin of the bearers while still at least double their body temperature before it can touch the ground. The bearers then have to carry the vessels back naked.
Effects on target - Giving people better blood flow and making them warm-blooded, increasing their bodies natural ability to create heat throughout their bodies and more able to endure the cold.
Effects on bearers - Bearers have to endure the pain of winter upon their bare skin on their way back. Bearers are always cold even in the warmest of summer and have to treat themselves daily with warm baths or towels to stop frostbite from overtaking their bodies.

Moriji - Blessing of nourishing Mother.
Blessing specific steps - Can only be performed by bearers that have children, that are being breastfed at the time of the blessing. The boiling of mother milk from mothers of the concept of /morig/ that have stilled at least 5 children each, at each site. All broth is boiled in a pot crafted out of glass, each piece that housed the milk from a mother of the concept of /morig/ that each have stilled at least 10 children, that has special glyphs melted into it made out of pure magic rocks from the concept of /morig/. After the vessels have been filled with the broth, the remaining broth is to be fed to the children of the bearers, making the last milk, they are allowed to feed their child, that of a different mother.
Effects on target - Encouraging the bodies of mothers to swell to greater size in the chest area and produce plenty of nourishing milk for their children, to never run dry and unable to feed their newborn.
Effects on bearers - Bearers have to endure the pain of not only having to carry the vessel but also their own child that will emotionally grow ever further away from their mother until they do not recognize their mothers as their own and begin to resent them. More is not known of the effects on the bearers, as one bearer cast aside their vessel on the way back, unable to endure the cries of their child as they grow to hate them, thus ending the blessing prematurely. It is said that the bearer in question has since moved to the port that deadbeats usually anchor into Hagu, kissing each deadbeat's feet as they set foot on the land of Hagu, as thanks that they still deem the nation worthy of visit, and to bless them with all the fortune she can, in order to atone for her sin.
