About Ecchi Extended
The Project
The project consists of improving some specific ecchi mangas using official content released by the artist/mangaka on different social media [Twitter, Pawoo, Pixiv, Fanbox, Fantia], or Artbooks. In some specific cases, they release some extra content containing uncensored images of some parts or complete pages of their manga. This content can vary greatly depending on the artist/mangaka; in some cases they release part of the manga with a complete or partial removal of the censorship, but in other cases they just release a slightly more ecchi version, without much to add.
But the point of the project is, to take all this extra content and use it together with the content from the original manga to create a new, more complete version.
In some cases, this extra content may not make that much sense in the context of the original version of the manga. But the purpose of the project is just to create extended versions of the mangas for collection purposes. For those who like to collect different versions of the same manga, or collect versions considered more difficult to find on the internet.
Also, I will always try to use the best quality raw I can find as a base for the project. And whenever I can improve something, or maybe recreate some page from the manga, like the cover and back cover, I'll try to do so. This is because another important point of the project is the preservation of these mangas.
And of course, all this content will also be available for scanlator sites, in case they want to use it in their translations.
Here's a list of some of the mangas I'm working on at the moment:
- Kono Yo o Hana ni Suru Tame ni
- Kunoichi no Ichi!
- Kunoichi no Ichi! no Ni
- Kuro Kuro - Black Chronicle
- Night Bound
- Tsugumomo
- Ureshon!
...
There are a few more, but these are the main ones for now.
The Work
Now, here's an example of how I make the edits...
- I take the page from the original release:
- Then I take the image of the extra content:
- And finally I make the necessary edits using Photoshop to remove the censorship of the extra content (but only if the author uses censorship with bars; if it's censorship with mosaic I usually don't change anything), and to properly join the two images. Here is the comparison of the finished example.
In this specific example that I used, the extra uncensored version may not make much sense in the original context of the manga, considering that in one page the character is wearing clothes, but in the next page she is naked. But that's like I said earlier, I plan to make these extended releases for those who like to collect different versions of a manga. It's just something I'm doing for fun, nothing more. But there are also some cases where the extra content is really just an improved version without the censorship.
Here are some examples:
There are also some cases where the mangaka release just a slightly more ecchi version of a page.
Conclusion
This is the general idea of the project. It's nothing too complex, just a way to spice up some of the ecchi mangas I collect. Most of the resources I have I got from the internet, but part of it I got from supporting the pages of some mangakas.
I'm also accepting new ideas or suggestions to improve the project, so feel free to share your opinions. Another thing, if you guys support any artist/mangaka (or found something new on the internet) and have some extra content that you're willing to share, I'm accepting new resources.
Anyway, if you want to know more about the project, just ask and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.
