/dx OCD and other disorders are something I and tons of other people struggle with every day. I feel like there's so much misinformation about OCD out there, chalked up to a cleaning disorder or needing to be neat, while that's not true, and with each joke made about it, the more that stereotype is reinforced. There are a lot of different kinds of OCD, and no one is the exact same. OCD is something hard to self-diagnose, I feel, because of that, personally, mine is danger, medical-related, and hypervigilance. It impacts my life every day and makes a lot of everyday tasks really hard. I hope more people in the future start to understand how complex the disorder can be and that it isn't as simple as being uncomfortable with things not being in order. main urls
