Exam 2: Nearing Day Two

// Revisions: Remilia has a snake fall from a tree, that coils around Mojo's arm and body.
// Notes: Have Mojo coordinate with Kitsumoto to be placed in optimal positions on the battlefield

Throughout the forest clearing, between all the various genin present, every eye coincides onto the white scroll bearing the name 'Heaven'.

In a moment Kuro places the unconscious Choko into the hands of her teammate before rushing towards the scroll launching a flurry of shuriken.

Kazen launches towards the ground, tumbling away from the shuiken and quickly snatching up Itami's dropped scroll. "Remilia! Tend to Itami and get out of here!"

"Forfeit the scroll or your life!" Kuro twirls the spear in her hand before she flings it at the redheaded genin.

As Kazen gets up onto his feet he narrowly moves his head as the point of the spear's blade passes by his face.

'Just need a single moment!' Keeping his eyes on Kuro, with the brief period between her last attack and her next move, Kazen goes to place the Heaven Scroll into his back pouch pocket.

Suddenly the impact of a kick slams into Kazen's back, knocking him towards the ground.

Twisitng around as he falls, Kazen sees a shadowy double of Kuro, originating from the shade of her spear now lodged in the ground.

'Shit, I underestimated her! She uses some sort of shadow jutsu?!'

Kuro rushes towards Kazen with a kunai in hand, as her shadow form closes in on Kazen's flank to finish the genin off.

'I'M THE LAST OF THE UZUMAKI CLAN! I WON'T LET IT END LIKE THIS!!!!'
As Kuro rushes forth with a kunai in hand, ready to finish off her vulnerable opponent, a chill run downs her spine as she sees a look of pure hatred in Kazen's eyes.

"You want the scroll so badly?" While catching his fall with a one arm handstand, he attracts the Heaven scroll to the bottom of his foot using the chakra adhesion jutsu. "THEN TAKE IT!!" He shouts before kicking the Heaven Scroll directly at Kuro.

Completely thrown off by Kazen's style of attack, the scroll hits Kuro directly in the face before ricocheting into the air.

Grabbing a kunai and planting it into the ground, Kazen rotates his body before swinging his legs across the ground, sweeping Kuro's shadow double off its feet. As the shadow descends to the ground Kazen rips the kunai from the earth before piercing through the shadow.

As Kuro recovers from her bloody nose, she sees the Heaven Scroll begin to fall towards the ground. She begins to rush towards where its falling to but when she takes her eyes off the scroll she sees Kazen smiling.

Tracing Kazen's field of vision, Kuro begins to turn pale as she spots the paper bombs floating silently around the drop point beginning to glow.
"Eat this!" Kazen tells her as he releases the paper seals with a hand sign.

「DARK WOOD STYLE: WOOD DEMON JUBBOKU」

A flash of light shines out before detonation, the blast of the explosion pierces through the clearing. As the smoke clears, Kazen sees a black, leafless coiled tree carved with ritualistic symbols where Kuro once stood.

"Ah, how hasty we are to ruthlessly condem eachother to death and suffering..." The tree parts open as a blindfolded robed priest steps within the tree before it closes again. "Trying to send each other to oblivion just to get ahead in this shinobi world, truly this is the epitome of what humans are!"

"Mitsuteru!!" Kuro's now nasely voice rang out from within the tree. "Took you long enough to hide Choko! Release the almighty lord of darkness, Kuro Blackshadow, from this wooden predicament or I forbid you from any more preaching! Heed my command!"

"All in good time, my friend. Unfortunately my jutsu is autonamous and I haven't quite figured out how to stop it from attacking you and Choko, so for now just stay put."

'Those paper bombs should've been able to easily blow right through that tree, and he said it attacks on its own will? This priest's wood jutsu has to be on a whole other level!' Kazen evaluates the shift of the battlefield.

"Kazen was it? Wouldn't you say violence is simply the language in which we express our most instinctual desires?" Mitsuteru asks as he starts forming hand seals.

"Our instictual desires? What are you talking about?" Kazen asks as he scans the area for the Heaven Scroll.

"To destroy and dominate, of course. Since the beginning of mankind, we've communicated our wills and desire through shedding blood!" He finsihes with a peculiar hand gesture and a wooden spike shoots out from the earth skewering Kazen's side.

Blood pools from Kazen's mouth, as the roots begins festering into his inners.

"This is the true essence of us Shinobi! That is the sacred truth of what it means to be alive!"
