Hi! All the writing here is pretty old, from 2024 to 2025... While I may add to it, as of now I like what's here.
Drabbles
Author!Mun and Journalist!Keegan
Just go up and ask… God, it’s not this damn hard, Mun thinks to himself. They scold the anxiety in the back of its head before taking a deep breath and making his way over to Keegan.
“Hey,” they start nervously. “Uh, I couldn’t help but… notice that you seem to be in the military? Some branch at least… well, I was wondering if I could ask you about it? Sorry, that sounds kinda weird but I’m looking for inspiration and-”
“Sure,” Keegan replies calmly as he gently cuts off Mun. It’s a stark contrast from Mun’s obviously nervous demeanor. He gestures across from him for the other boy to sit down.
A small smile plays on Keegan’s face… Odd, he thought. Normally the authors I meet aren’t this shy.
“So,” Keegan starts. His eyes are trained intently on Mun, “What did you wanna ask? Anything specific?”
Mun laughs quietly and shakes his head, “Ah… no. I just need some ideas. My boss wants me to get a really good story out there… and I enjoy learning about the military so I thought why not write something about that?”
Keegan chuckles and nods, “I see… well kid, you’re in luck. I happen to be in the marines. I’ll help you out.”
“Thank you,” it quickly responds. “You don’t know how much I needed this. I… should we exchange, um… numbers or something? So we can meet up… and like, discuss?”
Keegan smiles. Damn was this guy nervous… was Keegan really that intimidating?
“That’ll work,” the marine nods and pulls out his phone to slide it across the table.
Mun grabs the phone and types in their number before giving it back to Keegan, “I look forward to working with you, sir. Can I ask you some things now?”
Keegan smirks and leans back in the chair he’s sitting in, “No need for formalities… but go ahead, kid. Let’s see what you’ve got in store for me.”
Author!Mun and Journalist!Keegan scenario based on this Tweet
“Mun,” Keegan mutters. His grip around the other man’s waist tightens ever so slightly. “Stay.”
“I’ve gotta get to writing though,” they pout and turn around to face Keegan. “You know that.”
“Just five more minutes?” Keegan huffs. “Please?”
He isn’t even doing puppy dog eyes but Mun can feel himself crumble and want to give in.
The shorter of the two hesitates and sighs, “You’re going to be the death of me.”
Keegan grins, “Yeah? Is cuddling me so bad?”
“You know what I mean…” Mun grunts before he sighs. “Fine.”
It curls up against Keegan before adding on, “Five more minutes.”
Keegan rests his head on top of Mun’s and hums happily to himself, “See? That wasn’t so hard.”
The marine’s morning voice sends a shiver down Mun’s spine. Damn this man and his ability to be effortlessly captivating.
Keegan Realizing His Feelings for Mun
Mun was in the medical bay healing from the gunshot wound to his shoulder. They didn’t want to see anyone… except for Keegan.
And surprisingly… he found himself visiting the younger man. When he entered he sat down at the edge of the bed Mun was in.
“Hey,” Keegan said gruffly. “How you holding up?”
“I’m okay,” Mun replies with a small smile. They didn’t want Keegan to worry.
Keegan didn’t reply immediately, his face fixed on Mun’s face. The slight plumpness of his cheeks… his bangs sticking to his forehead from the sweat… how they looked without their glasses. It was all too much and it had Mun glancing away from shyness.
“Why did you come see me?” He asks anxiously.
Keegan gives a subtle shake of his head, knock it off and answer them. “Wanted to see if you were okay. I feel like it’s my fault.”
“It’s not,” Mun assures with a chuckle. “You heard me in the helicopter. I’d do it all over again.”
Keegan chuckles, “You shouldn’t risk your life that easily for someone, kid.”
“Was worth it,” they shrug and readjust themself in the bed. Keegan is keenly aware of the movement and his eyes can’t help but wander over Mun’s expression again.
The hell is the issue? Keegan scolds himself. He’s not an emotionally driven man, but seeing Mun so… vulnerable and in need of care is driving the poor marine mad. The things Mun was saying was enough to make Keegan, strangely, want to hold the shorter guy.
“Why do you keep looking at me?” Mun asks. It’s an innocent question. “Is there something on my face?”
Keegan’s eyes widen ever so slightly. It’s a crack in his demeanor that Mun doesn’t pick up on.
“Sorry, no. You don’t have anything on your face,” the marine responds swiftly, looking away.
Mun just nods. Curse them and their ability to be so oblivious… if only he knew what was swirling around in Keegan’s mind.
Keegan Mulling Over His Feelings for Mun
Keegan was a man of logic. He didn’t wear his heart on his sleeve. So why do the marine’s words get stuck in his throat every time he wants to confess?
It should be easy to tell Mun exactly how he feels. I like you, man. No, that’s too informal. I have feelings for you, Mun. And that’s too formal.
He shifts in bed as he stares at the ceiling. It’s midnight and he can’t get to bed. Normally he’d ask Mun to come over to cuddle… as friends. Mun was slightly chunkier than Keegan. He hadn’t been in the Ghosts for long so they didn’t gain much muscle yet.
But Keegan didn’t care. It made Mun softer and he liked it.
Why is he thinking about that?
He groans and puts the pillow over his face. Keegan was irritated. The man despised being vulnerable. Open. But Mun? That stupid guy came around and made Keegan think about things he never considered before.
Keegan didn’t have many relationships. More so flings and crushes… but Mun made him feel different. The younger gent made the marine’s heart flutter. They made him laugh. That stupid boy made Keegan want to protect him forever.
And it’s driving Keegan up the walls. He wants to hear Mun’s laugh. Make the man smile. He wants everything domestic with them. And it makes him so angry at himself for being so soft.
Mun and Their Anxieties
“Do you think we’ll be together for a long time?” Mun asks Keegan as they’re curled up in bed together. Keegan is running his hands through the other boy’s hair.
“Yeah,” he admits. “I do.”
“Would you ever leave me for someone else?” Mun glances up at him.
Keegan pauses, staring down at Mun. They’re probably about to get upset.
His answer wouldn’t hurt Mun… but he knows this is the start of a spiral for the poor man.
“No, never,” Keegan shakes his head. “I’m with you. You know how hard it is for me to even get feelings.”
“Me too,” Mun says. “I just worry that maybe I’m not enough.”
Keegan chuckles. “You sure are a worrywart tonight, hm?”
Mun buries his face against Keegan’s neck and huffs. “I always am.”
“More so than usual, then.”
He pouts again, making the marine compelled to pat their head. “Yeah, more than normal.”
“Why would I leave you when you’re all I really want though?” Keegan asks.
Mun shrugs. “Maybe you’ll find someone better who gives you everything and more.”
He lightly taps Mun on the head with his hand. “Quit that nonsense.”
Mun whines, “But it’s true! You could find someone so much better and… I don’t know why you chose me.”
Their breath quickens. It’s a sign that he’s starting to get more nervous. Keegan tugs him closer and holds him like their lives depended on it.
“But I want you,” he assures Mun quietly.
“Why?” The shorter man asks. Their voice cracks slightly and it breaks Keegan’s heart.
“For one you saved my life practically,” the marine begins. He’s going to list off reasons and Mun knows it. “You can actually make me laugh and smile. Do you think I’ve ever laughed this much before? You break me down and sometimes I can’t stand it… in a good way.”
“But-”
“Shh,” Keegan tuts gently. “Do you know many nights I’ve spent awake thinking about how the hell you got me to be like this? I’m all… soft now. It’s cuz of you.”
“I’m sorry,” Mun interjects.
“No, it’s-” Keegan sighs. He’s gotta be more careful with his wording. “It’s not your fault. I’ve been told too many times by our team that I need to loosen up a little. Never thought I’d be able to do that though, and then you come along.”
“I really, really… have feelings for you,” Keegan huffs.
“As if we aren’t dating.”
Keegan lets out a breathy chuckle, “Shut it. You get what I’m trying to say, don’t you?”
They nod. “Yeah… I think so.”
“You’ve changed me, Mun. In ways that I never thought could happen. I can be myself around you… which I’m not used to. It’s strange.”
“You’ve changed me too,” Mun smiles up at Keegan. “I feel safe around you… I’ve not felt safe with anyone for a long while, you know.”
Keegan’s heart does a stupid flutter. “You do?”
Mun giggles, “I do.”
The marine’s heart swells with so much love for the other man. He’s not one for words… so he just hugs Mun closer, mumbling a gentle I love you against the top of his head.
Keemun Fluff About the Future
"Mun."
Keegan's voice snapped the other man out of his thoughts.
"Mhm?" Mun hums and slides back against Keegan's front.
The marine's hands gripped Mun slightly tighter as he pulled them closer. He rests his head on the shorter gent's shoulder, "What are you thinking about? You got all quiet on me."
Mun chuckles, "Sorry, I- I'm just thinking about, uh... our future."
Keegan tenses at that. His heart does a little flip. "Our future, huh?"
The younger man nods, "Yeah... What we're gonna do when we get outta here."
"What're you wanting?" Keegan asks. He nuzzles his nose against Mun's neck. It causes them to shiver.
"Owning a dog... Or a couple cats," he begins simply. "And living in an apartment together. We'll be domestic boyfriends for life."
"Love the sound of that," Keegan hums, kissing Mun's cheek. "As long as I'm with you, you can have whatever you want."
"You gonna spoil me?" He smirks and nuzzles his cheek against Keegan's.
"Maybe. Anything for my sweet boy, yeah?"
In A World Where Keegan Gets Jealous (Not Toxic)
"Mun," Keegan's deep voice breaks the silence in the helicopter.
The pilot couldn't hear the two which Mun was thankful for as they spoke up, "Yeah?"
"You know I love you, but what the hell was that?" The sergeant responds. He's trying not to show how upset he is with Mun.
"I... Hesh told me to," Mun says gently. "So I didn't wanna go against his word and get everyone killed."
"Hesh told you to," Keegan echos. His jaw clenches. "And you listen to him when he says to throw a grenade back at the enemy?"
"I... Well, he's my lieutenant. I don't wanna disobey him. You know that," they respond. He starts to mess with his fingers and Keegan knows he needs to be more careful.
"But I'm your sergeant," he finally huffs and folds his arms. His gaze is diverted from Mun as he continues. "And I'd prefer if you listen to me."
Mun knows Keegan isn't trying to control them. He wants what's best for his partner, to keep them safe... But he can't help feeling something's different.
"Are you mad?" Mun questions quietly.
"No," Keegan sighs. His face softens, "I just... Worry about you. I don't want you getting killed, and when has Hesh ever had a good idea?"
Mun giggles, and Keegan's heart melts. "See? Even you know he's got less than great ideas."
"But I look up to him," Mun sighs. "I want to make him proud."
That makes Keegan's fist clench. Why was he feeling like this?
"Do you look up to me, too?" The sergeant asks carefully... Almost with vulnerability.
"Of course I do!" Mun exclaims. "You're my boyfriend after all, I look up to you most."
Keegan smiles and wraps an arm around Mun. It feels more... Possessive, this time around. Mun notices it.
"Tight," the shorter man comments. It takes Keegan off guard. "Are you okay?"
"Well, I don't know. I have conflicted feelings," Keegan admits after a moment. He wants to be honest with Mun. "I'm glad you listen to people, especially your lieutenant... But I can't help getting this weird feeling. I don't like it."
"Does it make you angry?" Mun asks. Keegan shakes his head.
"No... Just that I want that kind of thing from you, too."
"Attention? Praise?"
Keegan nods slowly. "I want you to feel like that about me too. Not just with Hesh."
"I feel that and more for you, Keegan," Mun hums. He rests his head against Keegan's shoulder. "So don't even worry. I love you."
"I love you," Keegan responds. He kisses the top of Mun's head.
"I also like your jealousy," the rookie teases. Keegan gently smacks him upside the head.
Keegan Gets Reminded of Mun (Based on This Tweet)
Keegan was heading down the hall to talk to Merrick about something related to the next mission they'd be going when something out the window caught his eye.
Near the base there weren't many live animals due to how isolated it was, but Keegan was surprised to see a small bunny hopping around near some brush.
A small smile crept onto his face as he thought of Mun: short, fluffy, cute. Everything a bunny is but more.
When he got to Merrick's office he had to force back the grin that was still on his face. He couldn't wait to tell Mun about the bunny, knowing they'd get excited and drag Keegan out of the base during some down time to try and find the bunny again.
Pre Keemun Scenario Slightly Inspired from This Tweet
Mun hadn't notified any of their commanding officers about where he was. It was worrying to say the least and even if Keegan wasn't fond of them he had to check in.
A knock on the door of his barracks echoed through the room.
"Come in," Mun called out. They were surprised to see Keegan step in. The sergeant awkwardly shuffled in and stood next to the recruit's bed.
"So," he starts. It's obvious he doesn't deal with these things often. "Why haven't you contacted anyone? Haven't heard from you in a day."
"I, well- sorry," Mun mutters. They're struggling to open up and Keegan can see it. "I'm okay."
"You're not."
It surprises Mun how observant Keegan is. His eyes widen slightly and he sighs.
"I'm okay, really."
"Bullshit," Keegan grunts. He crosses his arms. "Tell me. We can't have you cooped up in here."
Mun huffs. He's being stubborn, but he doesn't care. "Keegan, it's fine. I'll come out... Why did you come anyway?"
Their words were a little harsh and did imply not wanting to see the sergeant.
Keegan feels a pang of hurt at that and replies in a calm but defensive manner, "I came to see you." He pauses before he corrects himself, "to make sure you were okay."
That gets a smile from Mun, and it makes Keegan feel warm inside.
"Come on kid, we can go train," Keegan nods towards the door. "Or whatever you want. I've got time."
Keemun Temporary Tattoos Based on This Prompt
Keegan thought it would be a nice birthday gift for Mun. Cute, temporary cat tattoos...
But when he proposed the idea in passing to Mun he didn't expect them to get overly excited. However this is Mun we're talking about and he's not exactly known for being quiet.
"Oh fuck yeah!" He exclaims. They hold Keegan's hand as the older man chuckles. He applies the temporary tattoo on Mun's arm. The shorter male is grinning like an idiot and it makes Keegan smile.
Cute, he thinks.
"My turn to do your tattoo!" Mun cheerfully says as he does the same thing Keegan did to them just moments ago.
The fondness in the marine's eyes would make anyone melt. He stares down at Mun and admires how precious he is when he's focused. How happy he looks.
Keegan loves these moments with his boyfriend, and he gets too lost in thought. Mun's mischevious "done" is what snaps him out of his head.
The smirk shows they're up to no good, and when he hands Keegan the handheld mirror... well, he expected this.
Of course Mun would litter his partner's face with silly cat tattoos. Good thing they're temporary...
Keegan Writes a Letter to Mun
Hi Mun. My Mun. You know I'm not really good at these, but I try my best for you.
I miss you, you know. This mission's been exhausting. I don't know why the hell they didn't have you come along. You know I'd make sure you'd be able to come if things were in my control.
I don't say it too much on my own, but I love you. Not sure what it is about you that makes me feel this way. Like some dumb high school boy. I know you'll make fun of me for this letter when I get back. Probably gonna knock me down with a hug like always. I don't hate them though. Your hugs are nice. They make me feel safe.
I'm not much of a sap, that much is apparent. You're more affectionate with words than I am, but I hope it's enough to know I'm thinking about you. How much I want to hold you again. I think being away from you for this long has turned me soft... desperate. But you never judge me for it.
I'll be back soon. You're allowed to take some of my hoodies if you miss me too, but knowing you I'm sure you already have.
- Your 'boywife' (I still don't know why you call me this)

"How many times do I have to tell you, kid?" Keegan grunts. "Third time this week."
Mun folds their arms. "It's not my fault everyone wants to beef with me."
He winces when Keegan tugs on the gauze around his leg. That bastard.
"Nobody wants to fight you," Keegan scoffs. "You're just being a pain in their ass."
"I am not!" Mun protests. But he knows he's a little shit.
"Can't stand when you do this, kid."
"You don't have to help me you know. I'm capable of taking care of mys-"
"Quiet," Keegan cuts Mun off. That earns a smirk from the younger man.
After a few more moments Keegan pats Mun's ankle. "Good to go. Don't do that shit again, you hear me?"
"Fiiine. Can I fight you instead?"
"Get lost."

"Why me?" Mun asks. They're having a rough time. Keegan knows how he gets when he's spiraling.
"Why you," Keegan echoes. He tugs Mun closer in the bed as he hugs him from behind.
"Yeah," Mun says quietly. "Tell me."
"Because I love you."
Mun grumbles. "That's not a reason!"
"It is," Keegan chuckles.
"Nuh uh."
"Nuh uh?" Keegan smirks. He nuzzles into the back of Mun's neck. "Alright. You want a reason?"
Mun nods. Keegan can't see his face from where they're positioned but he wants to make this matter regardless.
"You make me happy. Sure you've got uh... you're difficult sometimes," he nudges Mun's cheek from behind with his nose. "But I love you. All of you. Every part about you."
"Even when I'm sad?" Mun asks. His voice nearly cracks.
"Especially then." Keegan nods. "Means I get to hold you 'til you're alright."
"Even when I'm irritating?"
"Unfortunately yes," Keegan hums. There's no bite to it and Mun's used to his sarcastic quips.
"You're mean."
"Nah. I'm tough on you 'cause I love you Mun." Keegan replies as he rests his head on Mun's shoulder. He cuddles closer to the shorter man.
"I love you more," Mun says.
Keegan smiles and kisses their cheek. "No way."

"Hey serg come here," Mun calls out from where they sit at a table. There was some down time before the next mission so he was just relaxing.
Keegan hesitates before sitting down
