The Great Supporting Actor

Nikako: The next performance is an interesting format.

Iruru: An omnibus play of five short original pieces. It's the kind of play that only a small theatre company can put on.

Hatsumi: The classic play The Snow Woman was a great success. I want to make a unique move capitalising on that.

Iruru: The Snow Woman was full of original elements, I don't really feel like we performed a classic.

Nikako: Haha, that may be true.

Hatsumi: The omnibus format has other advantages as well. It allows us to cast a different cast than usual.

Hatsumi: I will take the leading roles in two of the performances. In the remaining three performances, Daikoku, Shigure and Nikako will play the main roles.

Nikako: M-Me in the leading role!?

Hatsumi: Are you dissatisfied with something?

Nikako: N-No! I was just a little surprised......I'll do my best!

Shigure: Haha! You don't have to be so tense, okay? Nikako-senpai and Daikoku-senpai are just the opening acts for Shigure.

Daikoku: In the order of performances.......you’re before Nikkachi......

Shigure: Hah!? I-It's true......

Shigure: Hatsumi-san, I would like to change the order!

Hatsumi: Rejected. This flow is the best I can imagine.

Shigure: Keeee! I can’t believe this!

Daikoku: Heh heh......squeaking like a little monkey......

Hatsumi: And Iruru. Keep being a supporting actor, as always.

Iruru: Yes, yes, Roger.

Nikako: But is that okay with Irurun? You could be the star of a show......

Iruru: Well, that can't be helped. My sense is pretty useless for lead roles anyways.

Nikako: Irurun's Sense is that she can play any role, right?

Iruru: That's right. I can get a passing mark in every role. It's just a bummer that I can't give a perfect performance.

Hatsumi: But it's an invaluable ability for putting together a performance. Without Iruru, the whole stage would be lost.

Nikako: Amazing......I respect Irurun's professionalism! I have to learn from you too!

Iruru: It's okay. It's not that amazing.

Iruru: That's right, I'm not suited to be the star of the show.
