Diana's Alternate Forms
Why is this a separate page, asks the curious anon. Because I completely forgot that Deoxys had alternate forms until nearly a week after I made Diana, says the tired writer. Enjoy some extra exposition and lots of art as apology lmao.
Attack Forme
Diana's go-to in combat situations, to nobody's surprise. She won't enter this form unless she feels like her standard forme really isn't good enough to win the battle... or when she's too mad to think straight and just wants her opponent dead.
When in this forme, Diana makes plentiful use of her extra pair of arms. She spends a lot of time either stabbing at people, obscuring her face with attempts at stabbing people, or holding various things to throw at people before she stabs them. She makes plentiful use of her shin and shoulder spikes for similar purposes, and is constantly moving while in this forme.
Defense Forme
The forme that Diana takes least often. Her serious deficiencies in defense make this form questionably useful, and it acts mostly as a last resort: a last-ditch effort to save herself when she thinks an attack will take her out. She really doesn't like how immobile it is.
Combat tactics here amount to "buckle down and wait it out." She really can't do much more than that as this forme, and she doesn't like staying in it. If she's forced to retaliate, she'll use items or otherwise refrain from using powered attacks.
Speed Forme
Diana's favorite. When traveling, this is a must. She likes how freeing it feels to go faster than any other Pokémon she's ever seen, the lack of cumbersome armor, and the smaller amount of limbs to keep track of. The extra height is also nice. A personal favorite activity of hers while in this forme is dashing straight at a building, full-speed, and phasing into it at the last second. Failed attempts at this have led to several days being lost to subsequent recovery. If it was easier to slow down in this forme, Diana would probably be in it all the time.
Battles against Diana in this forme are even more frustrating than normal. On top of her normal forme's phasing and her general penchant for annoyance, Diana's extreme speed in this forme makes her practically impossible to hit. The main reason she isn't constantly fighting in this forme is because of just how much stronger her Attack forme is, and even that isn't enough to dissuade her from using it quite liberally in battle.
